There is no way sony will allow nintendo to have 3 years lead on them and (possible) 1-2 years lead to microsoft.
After command and conquer tiberium wars.
The Wonderful 101 and pikmin 3 are my top anticipated Wii u games.
anything by platinum is pretty much a buy for me, and the other is pikmin, what else do you want (:
Oh the irony is overwhelming.
I won't associate that shitty excuse of a sequel to the greatness that was banjo kazooie.
Nuts and bolts should've been a new ip.
That's the least of my concerns with RE6.
I bet you never owned Bethesda games manuals.
those are pretty awesome.
Keep Kinect away from my halo pls.
Are people seriously still Discussing the possiblity of Wii u being weaker than 7 years old hardware?
Not EA man.
I'll take square enix stubbornness, capcom greed And Activision milking combined over what's EA's doing for their developers.
I lost the count of how many great studios they acquired then just simply threw it in the trash later.
The ps2 wasn't heavily online supported to be able to add new features swiftly like the ps3.
It amazes me to this day how people don't understand the "ten years of support"
it DOESN'T mean no new console for ten years, but that the current console will be supported even if the successor launched halfway through it 10 years life span.
What get on my nerves are the people who compare 5 years old, established systems libraries to those new systems that barely had one year after launch.
hell, even 2 years is not enough to judge a system and it games as a whole and calling doom and gloom.
Play mario bros. On nes.
Then super mario world on snes.
Then mario 64 on n64.
Then mario sunshine on gamecube.
Then mario galaxy on wii.
Then I DARE YOU to say they are just rehashes.
"bu bu but itz teh same formulah!!!"
Well duh! Because its a sequel! Look at god of war series, same formula. the mgs series, same formula. So on and so forth.
The whole idea of PlayStation mobile is Sony's take at the expanding mobile gaming.
its actually a pretty smart move, no matter how much anyone is hating ios/android gaming, they are a legit section of the gaming industry, and Sony knows this.
"hardcore" gamer in origins means a gamer that obsessed and truly loves playing games, a gamer that appreciate niche quality games that get ignored by the masses, a gamer that would buy a console if he could even if he dont like the father company as long as the system provides good games for him and dont base his/her purchases by blind brand loyalty.
thats the true meaning of a hardcore gamer IMO. now sadly the term has been altered and now means angry, whiny nerds...
dont people really remember the last time most of us acted as professional gaming industry analysts trying to predict the fate of this generation way back at 2005?
this gen was full of surprises nobody even thought it would happen. trends comes and go, and you cant predict how well the next gen consoles would do based by how their predecessors done in this generation, its more complicated than that, and there are two major pieces of the next gen puzzle that are still missing,...
looking for a new publisher is not a walk through the supermarket! its not like they make an ad on craiglist "publish our game k thnkx bye"
first off, you have to consider that publishers have a lot of control and influence on the development process, some publishers abuse their developers by giving limited space for creativty, a small budget or a very short deadline, and i think you are fully aware of how a bad publisher could hands down destroy your franchise and screw you...
and how could platinum address that problem themselves?
they cant fund and publish bayonetta 2 by themselves, and sega didnt give a flying fudge about the series.
after all they didnt deliberately just said screw 360/ps3 fans, we are going to the wii u! they basically had little choice, and really, put yourself in their shoes.
you are a studio with great franchise that have potential to expand into further sequels, and nintendo came and basically woul...
"but Steam will also need to be certified on the App store to even be downloaded on your Win 8 machine. "
Thats simply isnt true. You download steam from their website just like you do with windows 7.
What gabe complaining about is the fear of the app market taking the lion share and any app/game outside of tge market wont get popular and people would have to let ms have 30% cut share for their apps to get published on the app market.
