Not buying it because of that. This game doesn't need it at all! Even social racers like Driveclub can be played offline.

Yeah, I already can get Wii-u games used really cheap. Still not buying a Wii-u yet, in a few months will cost me next to nothing to own one with a ton of games.

I find that these "simple" names in branding do work, but it needs to be done properly and self explanatory, like most Playstation related devices are.
Example: untill last week, my girlfriend thought that the WII-U was the slim WII... That says a lot about how bad "simple" branding names can be when done wrong.
IMO the best looking open world 3rd person game is Infamous SS. Witcher 3 has nice areas but the characters look a bit ugly, MSG5 looks really good but a bit blocky at some points.
How is GTA5 still relevant? Or COD AW? Or FIFA? Some people, mostly casuals, play the same games all the time.
I don't think Mad Max is anything special... Honestly I'm tired of most open world games: "go here do this, go there do that" here's a "bit" of story... Rinse and repeat... They added the car to change a bit but it's not enough for me.
Gamers that like open world games and don't mind doing the same over and over again will love Mad Max, but for me these games need a lot more to be worth 70€.
Snake actually talks quite a bit... In the freaking TAPES! Those tapes are so lazy IMO.
I've finished it too and I don't think it's lacking in story.
The difference is that the story "small details" are in the tapes and the "main part" is in the cutscenes, while in MGS4 everything is in the cutscenes. I wished they've done it all in the cutscenes, like in MGS4, to make the story feel more "alive".
IMO the tapes felt lazy since the beginning...
@gamer7804, I've used remoteplay from the UK to Portugal and worked just fine. My PS4 was wired that might help.
There are a ton of articles online that prove that, maybe you need to see if you have a problem with your router.

You're at the start of the game... Just keep playing the story mode and get ready to be amazed :)

Still, those missions shouldn't be on the episodes bit, put them on the side missions or on a new difficulty setting. It's just lazy and looks really bad for a MGS game.
The first few hours do rely on tapes for story, but after thar get ready, all is about to change :)
I had nothing but high praises for this game untill mission\episode 33... These are SPOILERS! Not story wise but still spoilers, the missons are being re-used with different difficulty levels, like you can't be spotted, no reflex or no weapons\buddy, etc, but these are re-used missons and it's getting annoying because you have to do them to move on with the history part... There's no need to re-use things just for filler... The side missions are more than enough!

There's no 1080p, 60fps and 24 cars on track without compromises... It's a shame there's no dynamic time of day/rain/lighting or the 2d crowds/trees and even the car models go down and look sorta cartoonish everytime the race starts, all these are trade offs for the physics and fluid gameplay.
Did I hurt your feelings by using your favourite games as an example? Go call your mommy and complain about the big bad man that made you very sad....
I really hope the new tomb raider bombs on the PS4, these types of deals are just wrong and the PS4 gamers should just leave it on the store shelves where it belongs. I'm sure not gonna buy, maybe rent it, maybe...
We already know it's not gonna sell much on the Xbox One where most people will end up playing Halo 5 and Fallout.
