"as you can see, the only thing eurogamer was right about was screen tearing on the PS3 version. it's convenient how the 360 wins due to PS3's screen tearing and some supposed lack of depth blur, but they say nothing about how the 360 version has sub-par framerate (especially at the beginning, where the game pauses two or three times) and horrible textures (the mountain at the end)." <---Zypher

how true and well said. Bubbles for you sir. Bubbles for you...
It's a shame, that when presented with facts, you still here people crying foul. The most logical thing would be to prove the facts to be wrong. But that's impossible to do, since EG does such extensive comparison tests that all you can do is appreciate the non-biased factual information that trickles down. The truth is still the truth no matter how hard some don't want to believe it.
Sad really........
stop talking already, we all know that you are a fan of the series, we can tell, no need to keep spewing nonsense.
Your going to make yourself look bad....
If it takes six months to do one car, how many cars does gt5 have, oh, i thought so.... See what happens when all the faith blinds you....
you say ridiculous things.
the 360 can do fp16, be sure to fully explore the information you attain from the web.
The "Special" FP10 HDR mode is basically free as it has the same performance and memory metrics as the standard FP8 mode and as the 4xFSAA is also basically free then in that context... yes XENOS provides "Free" HDR + 4xFSAA. There are certain limitations to that special FP10 HDR mode... but... developers have a lot of options to which mode they can use.

it's a business.... the same thing is going to happen with home. Microtransactions FTW....
let's hope more details come to light...
game looks promising
it's a multi-band unit. I have an AG router, and i keep my 360 on the A bandwidth. It's on a 5ghz frequency range which is less cluttered and i don't ever half to worry about slow downs and lag from my end because it has faster speeds then the G bandwidth.
but in essence, the price of the receiver is affected by it's multi-bandwidth capabilities.
then i'm o.k. I've played CoD4 on norma, thought it was awesome and that i might want to get some more achievements, so i decided to play it on Veteran. That's where i found CoD4's fatal flaw. The scripted events and unlimited spawning enemies is horrible. I lost interest after i got most of the way through.
I hope Bungie keeps Halo's sandbox AI driven gameplay. It limited CoD4's replay value (at least for me), i've played Halo 3 more times then i can count, mostly the main cam...
"Fair warning: Users who have modified content on their File Share - regardless of who created said content - will be subjected to the full power of the Banhammer’s thrust. This includes some never-before-unleashed technology that will effectively terminate your Halo multiplayer experience online in every imaginable facet. In fact, the ban is so thorough that simply calling it the Banhammer is a complete understatement. I just couldn’t come up with a more hyper-exaggerated term that had ...
karaoke revolution, which debuted on the PS2 first and was ported to XBox (which let you download more music). Then they pushed Karaoke Revolution to the next level when they created Karaoke Revolution Party, which incorporated the PS2's Eyetoy and the dance pads for the XBox and Gamecube.
Sony did not start everything, i hope you do know that....
so quickly many of you forget..... Karaoke Revolution was the first, and then they came out withKaraoke Revolution Party (which incorporated the dance pad, so you had to do both dance and sing; and the ps2 version incorporated the eye toy.)
Sony did not start everything. But that's what videogames do a lot of the time. They expand/innovate an original thought. That's what Singstar did and that's what Lips is going to do. Take an original idea and try to improve on it.

So let me get this right, you are knocking the 360 for its architecture in the GPU. So what if it needs the EDRAM, wasn't that the point. MS paid ATI to develop a GPU that they could utilize in the 360. All it's components are specifically designed for running on the 360. That's a pointless argument, that's just as bad as complaining about the Cell architecture.
Your argument is purely pointless. The PS3's Cell architecture is not conventional and not in common pc's, but it des...
About that blog, have you played Mass Effect. The game is based heavily on that theory. When a civilization hits a peak it is destroyed. But in the game they have a deliberate catalyst....
it's not really our giving into technology, but more or less, the average person giving up their responsibilities and thinking that everything will take care of itself....
Technology is technology, it's what we do with the technology that causes all the problems.
Look at the hypocrisy of our democracy. We the people are suppose to have the power, but when we voted for our commander and chief, we the peoples vote got overturned by the electorial college, which are...
not only that, the 6 core thing was a typo, because as you can see i said dual thread, i meant to say 6 threads.
As far as the 360's gpu is concerned, it's a departure from conventional gpu makeup. and with it's unified architecture and daughter die, i think it can be considered advanced. at least many people on the pc forums where impressed with the tech inside the gpu.
Edit: i understand what you are saying, but i was just defending the 360 from the seems to be...
let's not forget that the 360's gpu is very advanced. Not only that, the 360 is not all old tech, maybe the dvd-rom drive is, but the CPU (3 core, dual-thread capable to 6 cores) and GPU (new, never before used Unified architecture) are very new.
I understand that the PS3 has new tech also; Cell, Blu Ray, HDMI 1.3, and some of the best sound processing tech, but don't be pro PS3 tech and try to knock down 360's tech. They are both powerful machines and they both need multi-thre...
drivel. Neither consoles are close to being tapped out this generation. They have just started to use more SPU's on the PS3 side, and on the 360 side, they are finally starting to use more then one processer and let's not forget the dual threading that is possible on the console.
You are just showing ignorance and bias for your specific brand of choice. This won't be like the other generations. These consoles have a wealth of potential with their respective CPU's and GPU's.

and they are not the only ones, it's been stated before that when it comes to AI, sometimes the most mundane things can seem impossible to implement.
Great points in the article....
Just wait for the actual numbers to come in, everything will look differently and EA is going to look like an A$$. Look at NPD numbers and even the numbers from the European tracking companies. They don't ad up at all. These are projections since Sony and MS report sales differently to EA.
All this fuss over nothing. I actually think that EA did this on purpose to try to get Sony Fans coming back to their company. EA has left many Sony Fans jaded with their half-a$$ed ports, an...
" the game is running internally with a whopping great 40 per cent resolution increase on the Microsoft console, with a native framebuffer of 1365x960 versus the standard 1280x720 on the PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 version also has an extra layer of lighting effects completely absent on the PS3 game - though the effect is rather subtle. They only manifest in the form of a touch of bloom and a good old fashioned lens flare mostly apparent on the pre-fight animations.
