Didn't Sony say there was gonna be maintenance on Thursday? D'oh!
http://www.joystiq.com/2012...
Edit: US Media: "HACKS! HACKS! I can't go into the PSN store! It say it's under maintenance! OMG!"
*Five minutes and thousands of articles later*
US Media: *sees PS blog notice* Oop...
Isn't it their other divisions and departments that causing Sony big losses (I know the Thai floods and yen is a part as well), mainly their television, camera departments? Why would they just throw away their gaming division when it kinda the only department that does well?
Edit: @ Sillygamer
Notice the new push lol

I'll go with Dead Space.
@ Bundi
" Either way, lets not pretend you didn't have a fanboygasm when the story first broke and it only mentioned xbox live."
Please show me where I had a fanboygasm in that article's comment section. I didn't even leave a comment.
Why are there PS Vita, PS3, PSP tags, when they said they are attacking Sony websites?
Edit: Lol @ Trainz. I like how he we so against them when there was word that they would attack Xbox Live but here he is now, cheering them on.
Why are you all freaking out? This is just homebrew, not piracy. It's sandboxed in the PsP emulator. Remember those "PS Vita hacked Day two" articles that some journalists tried to front with? This is the same supposed hack (not really a hack, it's in the PSP emulator), running in the HBL.
*Paul Mooney scream* Hope this one is better than 5.
Nvm, they're talking about profit, my bad (cause everything dripped in Nov and Dec as far as console hardware sales in 2011 compared to 2010's).
Edit: "We shipped 8.2 million Xbox 360 consoles during the second quarter of fiscal year 2012, compared with 6.3 million Xbox 360 consoles during the second quarter of fiscal year 2011."
I thought they said they sold 10 million in the CES report? So it was 8.2 million?
Edit: Dang, this is one of those slot games. Didn't realize lol.
Yeah, these details are kinda old. b
Yeah, these details are kinda old.
So everything dropped that year for December?
2010-2011
Xbox360- 1.86 million to 1.7 million
Ps3 - 1.21 million to 936k
Wii - 2.3 million to 1.07 million
Edit: If this is true, how the heck did the 360 sell 10 million units from between Oct-Nov-Dec? Going off of the npd reports (3.9 million units sold for the 360 between O.N.D), the 360 would have to have sold 6.1 million in Europe, other territories for the same months total?...
In order for Microsoft to have sold 10 million 360s WW with the US NPD numbers currently being 3.9 million sold for Oct-Nove-Dec, wouldn't the 360 have to of sold 6.1 million in Europe as well as other countries together in those same months? Weird thing about this is that the Ps3 was leading the 360 in Europe that year as of October by 1 million (UK is the only territory that the 360 leads in and that usually only by 20 thousand for the month). If the Ps3 ends up still leading in Europe....
So 3.4 million was sold from November to December in the US. I guess Microsoft sold 6.6 million total (lol) in other territories, in those same months for their 66 million units sold to be true, huh.
Edit: I guess they're leaders in both Europe and other countries as well last year. Can't wait for the numbers from European countries lol.
Great numbers, how many did they sell in December 2010?
Man, I can't wait until Feb. From their impression, it seems to be a solid handheld.
I think Sony could and would still support the Ps3 if they do ever decide to release the Ps4. I mean, they still supported and sold the Ps2 when the Ps3 came out.
Edit: And if the next Xbox and Wii U machines does get announced and released during the year, why would Sony wait it out again and give them another head start (Xbox360)?
"As of January 5th, PlayStation Vita has officially sold 500,000 units in Japan."
"
Sweet, so they sold all of their shipment in 20 days.
This is pretty cool.
My download list is cool.
Lol, how did I lose my bubble again? I haven't even been on for a week.
Edit: Also, you can just search for the item you want to redownload and grab it from that screen. It already shows that you've purchased it. Thxs for the heads up, firelogic.
