True, it only been like 4-5 years since the Ps3 dropped. More time, the better.
It means that you'll be able to play it on your ps3 and pc if you like, as well as cross platform play with pc gamers if you're on your ps3 or ps3 gamers if you're on your pc. You don't get blocked.
I think you'd only buy it on the 360 to play it on the 360. I don't think the 360 has any free Portal PC version deal with the purchase of the 360 version deal like the Ps3 has. I think the Ps3 even has a cross platform feature as well (PC gamers can play with Ps3 gamers).

If I was a pirate, I think I would wait atleast a week. especially after the recent (2 days ago) CFW 3.55 online pass through trick that gave some people systems weird errors and screens on ps3hax before it supposedly got locked again lol. Too complicated for the people there.
