Might be true, might be false. Time will tell if the forum post is legit or not.

Spill it! They did say that they weren't gonna share NPD numbers back mid 2010, but still, spill it! Someone will leak them like the Christmas numbers though.

@ mushroom

After that generator chain message scam, they had to lol (people were actually logging into that site's fake sign in page and filling out some forms with their name and address for supposedly free PSN money).

Edit: And don't forgot that PSN sharing stuff.

What's wrong with that? Monitoring and watching out for hackers? Microsoft does the same thing, Microsoft can even record and see what you are doing even with Kinect now. I'm not trying to bash or anything (check my comment history in both PS3 and X360 articles), but it's just crazy how all this stuff get put on Sony when it "joins the club" on what the others have been doing for awhile.

"The first thing that needs to be stated about Dead Island is that it is just visually gorgeous. The Chrome Engine shows off the huge tropical island paradise called Banoi Island in such vivid detail, and every inch of the island -- from little villages to a large city -- can be explored. While the game isn't linear, there are some sections that need to be opened up within the main storyline in order to ge...

Yeah, Gandi read the arstech article that justpushstart sources it's article on. It only affects people with/using CFW. I believe the article is up on N4G's top stories list if you're having trouble finding it.

Atleast we still have cross platform with pc users and ps3 users, as well as the free PC version deal if you purchase the ps3 version.

Wow, seems this only affects users with custom firmware. Glad I didn't do it.

"As flaws go, the risks here are not substantial. There is no generalized ability for hackers to grab credit cards from PSN users; only those using specially devised custom firmwares would be at risk. Essentially the same risk could be faced by anyone downloading a pirated version of Windows: extra certificates could be added to those normally trusted, along with suitable DNS entries, to al...

I thought IGN said this was available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox360. Where's the ps3 tag? Well anyway, I can't wait. The way they described the melee aspect of the game (scavenge system, using what you can find. Melee playing a good part), the PS Move and Kinect could probably work well with this.

Edit: Well the PS Move might work well. Kinect needs to come out with that controller add on that they've been taking about.
