Spot on: Battery life is miles behind the other tech improvements. No portable device can be truly successful all the time batteries are like they currently are.
There are many good games coming on the next-gen systems, but I think we may move to more portable devices rather than a home console.
I have done this with the last couple of CoD games, but after Black Ops and with BF3 looking so good, I will focus my time on that game to start and see where that takes me. Although zombies is pretty amazing.
Call of Duty will now be seen by many hardcore gamers as a kids game, the real players will now move to BF3.
There are plenty, BF2 is one FPS that had a lot more warfare and less of this running around knifing, not to mention more realistic. Although it was not perfect, but BF3 and MW3 need to make a big change to the current style of unrealistic madness, which mostly affects COD.
I always say it's all about expectations. If you raise them too high, no game will live up to it.
I hate noob tubing, nice to see that improvement.
MW3 will be popular, but the real FPS hardcore gamer will want BF3.
They said "giving you a ‘Mode not supported’ message at the same time. If this is happening to you, DO NOT switch off your PS3 as it looks like a problem related the TV, and the resolution setting, not the console itself".
The update is affecting some Samsung TVs, after updating for a few minutes, which was not like it before the update. I guess some people will force restart their consoles before waiting.
This is so true, PC graphics are amazing and while the gameplay is harder on a PC (when it comes to how easy you can jump on the PS3 and Xbox 360), we certainly need the jump in graphics in the living room.
Nice idea, imagine PS4/Xbox 720 graphics and doing this.
Yep, what is going on.
Thinking on the topic of Final Fantasy 7, the graphics on the PS4 would be, well I am speechless. But still, gameplay is first in my book.
Got to love Amazon for a good game deal, but with so many good games on the way why do we want cheap crap?
I still want better online matchmaking, and rooms for friends to have private games in many more games for the next-gen.
Just seen a video interview on DUST 514...pretty cool.
Warhawk was an amazing game but then I lost intrest, I may give this one a go to see if it can hold me much longer.
I want a better browser too, but more importantly cross game chat.
Just a little patience needed.
I can see this game having more of an impact on Call of Duty: MW3 than BF3, unless it ups the realism like BF3 is. If the game is faster pace and more run, shoot, and kill like COD, then BF3 will not be impacted.
