thats a pretty good point to be fair, i was gutted about the resolution thing but lets get things in perspective.
I use my 360 in 720p and my sky box is 720p, the only time i actually get 1080p is when i watch a bluray which might be once a month! most downloads i do are 720p also as the trade off for the larger file size vs 1080p isnt that much of a difference.
im not trying to play the 1080 thing down just think we need to chill out on it a bit...

jesus christ do we still need these articles re display cases? if i put my av amp in a case that small it would over heat pretty quickly! this is getting stupid now, even my sky box gives off a lot of heat and i wouldnt put that in a tight enclosure, just a bit of common sense is neede thats all.

yeh im getting both, new metal gear looks pretty sweet no way im playing that in sub 1080.
any bad press for xbox one is a good thing, they really need to pull their heads out of their arses, they need to strip down the size of the memory allocated to kinect and os features and give some back to games surely the latest revelation regarding ghosts has confirmed this.

nintendo is a totally different kettle of fish, nintendos market is not the same as xbox, ps4 is in direct competition with xb1, if 2 products are so similar but one easily outperforms the other its a no brainer surely?
this is my opinion and applies to ME only but the 720p is a huuuge issue for me! honestly i am sick of people saying it doesnt matter, it does! i was so hyped for xb1 to be the center of my entertainment but this totally overshadows everything else, i am so close to cancelling my order totally fed up with ms.
