They were really inspired when making this game. Such a big amount of content. 8 players is awesome, however, official tourneys should still be 4/2 players only.
I hope I don't get to see an 8 Bowser Jr match. Hopefully they will Nerf Bowser Jr soon.

Exactly the reason why I call AC2 the best come-back game ever. First one was such a let-down and the 2nd one was such a GIGANTIC step in the right direction.

I really am starting to get annoyed by sites that makes you "change page" to see a frickin game list (1 page per game with just a small paragraph of text).
I remember Destructoid as the site who hired a Microsoft guy who stated (as fact) that Microsoft was working on a MGS4 release and when confronted about the matter, called everyone a Sony Fanboy douche...
That was, obviously, YEEEARS ago and that prompted me to stop giving the sites clicks.

On consoles, yes, on PC there is more content, however, even if it is one bank, the difficulty levels could change the way it plays out. Plus, it was given as a PS Plus game for free, so there's that.
But the important thing here is that the mechanics were somewhat realistic and cool. It isn't all about just shooting and it felt like a real cops vs robbers game, unlike Hardline.
I think they were referring to a mode where the RPGs are kind of an objective as well and I think it is better. Some people just love to start spamming and camping with explosives and that is just too boring. You suddenly felt that you were dealing with COD kind of camping
Well they don't have any other options. The first beta was so badly received that they really need to start listening to the users.
As a "Cops & Robbers" game, Payday 2 does a better job and the mechanics were far more interesting. Hardline was basically a "Battlefield Scenario" with some people dressed as Robbers and some others as the police, although you never felt like they were police or robbers.
Link is nowwhere near as OP as Duck Hunt or Bowser Jr. I haven't lost to any Links or Duck Hunts, but Bowser Jr... f*** that!
It's just like any other competitive fighter. Several people trying to practice with their new characters and then the rest of them spamming with the OP ones like Bowser Jr.

I don't really think so. I think the world, the lore and the gameplay is what makes Zelda Zelda, but I believe some other areas could be explored in an interesting way.
It sounds like a cool idea. Instead of travelling through time or a dark world, Link travels to parallel universes to meet with their own versions (zelda, link, etc) of those particular universes. A Steam Punk universe, a futuristic universe, Western universe, feudal japan universe, Mushroom kingdom version of Hyrule, etc
Yeah, Phil Fish is not a good example, he's actually the complete opposite, but I 100% agree with what you said.
Favorite as well and that is the reason why I commend a Link Between Worlds as well. Such a beautiful tribute to the majesty of ALTTP. The remade graphics, the remade music (plus the amazing new music) it's just a great tribute to the best of the series.
Basically every game (and Zelda games as well) took a LOT of features (like light/dark world traversal) from this game and part of the reason why I will always consider the SNES the best console ever made (so far).

It is, but it is a fair penalty for being wreckless, which is why you probably died.
Ridley is already in this game, and this is the best way that Ridley can be in Smash. Making it a regular character wouldn't make sense.
King K. Rool would be a great addition. It's a shame that Nintendo couldn't get the rights for Banjo & Kazooie.
