I think they are. And will be. I really wasn’t too fond of these mid gen console upgrades. Truth is PS4 and X1 could have been beefier but it would have come at a cost. Looks like these companies are ready to start this gen with the biggest leap in graphics fidelity from past gens
That’s exactly what I’m thinking aswell. To a degree a cheaper ps5. Not too cheap but atleast look cheaper. Thing is console parity will allow ps5 to gracefully undercut xbox.
My best guess is that Sony is looking to keep their console on the $500 price tags while allowing the Xbox be $600. Im sure they just want to get their ducts straight to achieve that via specs.
