M$ played it safe because they were trying to be 1st on the market trying to get a relatively cheap system out there which shows in the quality of the 360 hardware..
I admit that if they had included a HD-DVD drive i the 360 the price would have been lil expensive at Launch but they could have doen what Sony did and take a greater loss since they claim to be in it for the long run..and recoup there losses down there road like Sony is doing...

Star Ocean sales in NA - total will be like 300k at most

it's not that ppl stop caring it's just that it's not exclusive ne more so there's no reason for ppl to come here and flame over how much Tekken sux , or it's PS3 exclusive and you wish you has Tekken on the 360...

fair review...had this game pre-ordered for months now....3 more days....
it took me around 25 hrs to beat the game on my 1st play through..
and 15 hrs on my second ...on Big Boss minus cutscenes.....I hate when ppl like Bladestar who obviously hasn't played the game yet comes here and talk crap about the game..
so if some dude beat the game in 5hrs...because he obviously just rushed played it just to prove a point how hardcore he is..
other like to enjoy the game for what it is..cuz that's why I spent $60 for.

but that's when ur switching to a different chapter which most times..only took..1-2 minutes at most to be completed....
this is gonna be a problem for future 360 games...what if the next GTA game can't fit on a DVD ? , even a dev who worked on On PGR4 said they had to cut content from the game due to disc space..and that's just a racing game...
guess what alot of 360 games will now b shipped with a mandatory install also..
and not all PS3 games have ins...

DVD's FTW....who needs Wii-fit when changing disks on a 360 is just as much exercise.
I agree PS2 so far has the highest rated game of the year...which is just amazing considering it's 8 years old....at this rate the PS2 might just live out this gen also...
