I read about this in the Game Informer article on LA Noire forever ago. It's what convinced me to pre-order that game right away. They were saying that you could tell from facial queues when someone is lying or if they look like they have more to say on the subject when you're questioning them, since you're a detective. It looks so amazing.

I am so psyched for LA Noire. You have no idea. Woooooooooo. :)

His review was fine, but how can you complain about there not being anyone on the multiplayer when it's not actually released yet? Unless they just don't let many people on the map at once. He didn't actually clarify if it was a flaw in with the game, or just no one had the game yet, so there wasn't anyone.

That's the only thing that confused me, the rest seemed valid. I probably won't be picking this game up.

This whole article was about the motion controls, and that this fella doesn't think that PS3 is going to sell the most to the casuals. Lil bit misleading. PS3 sales are pretty good these days, yes?

Honestly, I personally don't care about the casuals, but the fact of the matter is that they're important these days. It's true that the 360 is directly aiming their sights on the casuals with Kinect, and seem dedicated to just that. It does differentiate itself fro...

but I'm cheap, and have other things to buy. I love gaming, I appreciate developers, and would love to support them whenever I can, but sometimes I just can't justify buying new.

Like others have said, the price point is the real issue. $60/game and there's a bajillion amazing games coming out. I'll buy a few new, prioritizing by how excited I am for them, and if they're trying something new and funky fresh, and the rest I'll wait to go down in price a...

Microsoft has had good reasons to have XBL closed in the past, and there is something to be said for the quality I feel I receive from the service. I really love XBL, and have for years now.

But, I do agree that they do have to get with the times if they want to keep competing. Having the COD maps a couple weeks in advance isn't going to cut it if the PS3 can have mmos and steam stuff. Sure, a few powerful publishers have been able to have their own server, like EA, but t...

I was hoping this would be better, but there aren't even reviews on the metacritic for the game yet. So, there's still a chance it could be good..

Kinect is going to expand the life-cycle of the Xbox 360.

I sincerely doubt there's going to be a new 360 in 2011, they just released the slim 360, and they aren't even releasing Kinect 'til November. Plus, a bunch of the industry people, including from M$, have said that this generation is going to be longer than what they have been in the past.

I want Move just for this! .... & Dead Space! <3 I'm super duper psyched.

I want to go! Insane how uncanny it is. Plus, it's expected to go on for 250 years? Plenty of time for a cult to start, and evil to breeeed... and for Pyramid Head to show up. <3

I enjoy gaming, but it really isn't for me from everything I saw at E3. Plus, M$ assures me with this article that it isn't for me. Which, I guess is nice of them, giving me a warning to not buy this. I really do appreciate it.

Plus, I had a little group of haters pestering me the other day for not liking Kinect, because I didn't think that it connects with the core gamers. & Here M$ is, saying outright that they're not trying to connect with the core. Wi...

Even M$ says it. It's not just me. They're not catering to or connecting with the core with Kinect. It's for "everyone" as in children, and parents. While when Move says everyone they mean the core AND everyone else. Go Sony.

Also "With Halo: Reach, Gears Of War 3 and Call Of Duty: Black Ops, this is the biggest year for core games on Xbox 360." I would argue that Gears isn't out til next year, and that I feel I've had bigger years in t...

If this is the best story-telling in years for Video Games, I don't know what this means for the industry.. or for me. I thought that Alan Wake was mediocre at best, while a bunch of people are like OHEMGEE THE STORY IS SO AMAZING WOO. I found Alan Wake himself a vastly unbelievable character, and the story was alright, but it focused around Alan Wake.... who was someone I couldn't relate to in the least.. Because I have a brain, and use it to think. Unlike Mr. Wake.

Who doesn't say bite me? I think its hott.

& how can my rebuttal be weak? Honestly, what's weak about it? I said why I'm excited for Move, why I'm not excited for Kinect, and said straight out the only thing that matters to me for both is amazing games. So, if Kinect ends up having an amazing game, then I might just invest, but otherwise it's not even on my radar. Move is adding the functionality to games I already know are amazing, plus games that lo...

I honestly didn't understand that much of what you were saying..

But people love the Wii for other reasons than having nice graphics, which Super Mario Galaxy 2 shows that you don't need to be in HD to be beautiful, anyways. But, I think if they release quality games that appeal to the everyone, including the core, like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, SMG2, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye, and Kirby that quality games will trump the need for HD.

Now I remember what I was thinking. They use the same exact AV port through out them all. & the power cords just are similar. While from Xbox to Xbox 360 they don't, and that also bothered me..

Anyways. woops. :)

I apologize. Should have done research before commenting like I usually do.. but I'm awfully lazy tonight.

I just hate how nothing'ss interchangeable from 360 to 360.. Now I'll always be stuck lugging that beast around. Bummer.

Well, this is rather nitpicky of me, but one thing I really wish they would do is stop messing around with the power cable. All the playstations have the same plug in. It never changes, except the brick. The original Xbox and the 360 have different ones. & each version of the 360 has a different one. There are 3, now 4 out. None of them are interchangeable. Why can't they just have one port, one plug in, that just works. I understand changing between the original Xbox and the old 360s...

Pre-E3 I was blasting both Move and Kinect to hell. I hate motion controls, and feel like they're trying to yank the controller right out of my hand, and smash it.

But, E3 made me like Move, with the fact that Sony is using it as just an alternative, and not leaving the core behind, and the fact that games I actually love can use it, PLUS they're not leaving actual controllers behind at all. Wooo. So, yes. I do like Move. Fuck you for calling me fake, but I really am ...

No. I refuse to acknowledge that Kinectimals is actually being sold at all.

None of the games they showed made me want it.. I can't imagine playing that river raft one and volunteering to look that stupid. Those actors were really good at their job though.

Maybe they'll announce actual good games by the time it comes out. But, Kinect seems more limited with having the ability to work for core games, so maybe not.
