Not really
Steam's latest "In Home Streaming", allows any computer to stream. You don't even have to buy their product unlike Amazon's console or Nvidia Shield, you just need the Steam Client to stream between the 2 machines. It's still in beta though.

That's not the point.
4K Monitors will eventually become affordable and the hardware will improve to run better in that resolution. And that's the con of the consoles. They only improve once per generation, so VR and 4K on consoles is very unlikely.
That's why i think Steam Machine will be a success. Ability to change hardware and no monthly fee.I actually know many people who felt betrayed when Sony announced that they will have a paywall to access online content. ...

Watch the whole video, for the quote

And there are a few examples of great games that took long to develop
Like Alan Wake or LA Noire

@Prince-Ali
That depends on what types of games you're looking for

Console games offer polished AAA titles, those mostly focus on the story. But their problem is the gameplay, mostly, it's left untouched, with only minor differences. That's mainly cause they depend on majority's preference and would rather not risk.

PC games on the other hand are made of mods(that later get turned into standalone games) and indies(independent games). T...

Well, in the past 6 month, Kojima released Castelvania 1 and 2 and Metal Gear Rising on pc
and also this:

So probably in 6 month time after MGSV release, we will get it on pc
though, i still don't get why would you use VR for a 3rd person game

The sales last from 20th to 24th
Each day they will max out a discount for some category of their games
the standard discount is 35%, and the maxed out is 75%
As of right now, Anno and Heroes of Might and Magic have -75%
in 17 hrs, it will change back to 35% and instead other games will get -75%
Capish?

As i recall, Tomb Raider had regenerating health, or is it the earlier games you are talking about?(unfortunately i didn't play them)

These guys(Respawn) made 2 Franchises last "around for a very long time"(Medal of Honor and Call of Duty)
Sure they can do it for the 3rd time

It's not realistic at all
Realistic games don't have
1)regenerating health
2)red barrels that explode
3)3rd person and GoW cover system

also considering that it's a sniper game, it should focus on teaching people what zeroing is(which it doesn't)

There was a time in Sniper Elite V2, where 2 Soviet trucks full of soldiers arrive and attack your position. You didn't have the element of surprise there, so proba...

Don't judge the book by it's cover
Plus, unlike most companies, Valve doesn't like to cheat on it's costumers, and had given out 300 Beta Steam Machines
There wasn't really much hate coming from the beta testers from what i have seen
and unlike others, Valve actually listens to the feedback of their costumers
Like recently, they decided to remove the touchpad and give the buttons a more natural layout

Lets think rationally now.
1) No subscription fee, say goodbye paying 60$ per year just to get your hands on online play

2) Steam Sales, Humble bundles and amazon discounts.

3) Ability to replace/add hardware and you are free to install whatever OS you may want. And unlike the console's OS'es, these don't take 3GB(Xbox One) or 3.5GB(PS4) of RAM to run their OS.

4) Valve and Oculus Rift. If you been checking the news lately...

The first ever company to do this was Overkill
They made Payday 1 and 2
I think you PS players should know that, cause Payday 1 at the time was basically a PS alternative for L4D
They still keep using that strategy, along with that they also release free dlc from time to time
and do community events on holidays(Christmas, Helloween)

I want Ancient Egypt, the Pyramids would just be awesome
or Ancient Greece with it's mythology
Afterall, they had Roman Gods in the previous series, so why not add a spin off with that?
