They released a new Contra game a year or so ago, and it was absolutely abysmal.

It won't. FOMO is too big of a boon to get people playing your game when you want them to.

It really doesn't have the potential. This game is 100% style over substance. The gameplay itself is so bland and boring, the world dull, the physics and animations quite clunky.

It's very easy to be the top when the bar couldn't be lower. 3D Sonic games have never, ever been anywhere near good.
Sure clips into her body though.
Game looks fantastic but the way her hair is clipping all over the place through her torso immediately removes all my immersion.

The only problem right now is if the game crashes or theres an update and you lose your progress. Other than that, its fine, and should be retained as is.

TLOU1/2 have fantastic tech and storytelling, but both have super mediocre gameplay.
It's definitely not ready yet. They are just claiming its "acceptable". They called it acceptable when they shipped it, completely broken.
