Nintendo gets criticized constantly. When they make a bad game, it's given a score to reflect that. When they make a good game, its appropriately praised.

the dead space remake is great, but its a carbon copy with updated visuals -- the standard for a remake was set with the original resident evil 1 on the gamecube
I really don't think we will have to decide. It's clear these games are a huge success critically and commercially. They will remake CV, zero, 1, 5, and 6.
VR is a really cool, but expensive gimmick. If the support isn't there and the entry fee is as much as the console it runs on, I have a very hard time justifying it for what games support it.
I'd love to play Village and RE4 in VR, but not so bad that I can part with $500.
Re1 was remade 20 years ago, it didn't kick off anything.
Re7 was the first game to use the RE engine, which then was used to remake 2.
CV first would be great. No thanks to outbreak or zero.
5 is one of the greatest co-op games ever made, but we live in different times now where couch co-op doesn't really exist and integrating online play would be a mess.
But AI co-op should remain. The AI in re4make is great. I do hope the focus is on horror, though. The same tone as re4make would be perfect.
This game is made by Blizzard. Bethesda makes buggy games.
