Exactly!
It's so weird cause you see this well polished cutscene like you see with their previous title and you'll feel like you're going to play an awesome story adventure game. Then suddenly boom! A fast paced gameplay all shooting no exploration whatsoever, gear score, loadouts, etc.
Hahahaha NO!
Not with that generic 3rd person looter shooter shoot the purple circle gameplay shown wherein aside from their traversal style all characters plays the same way because everyone have access to the same guns.
MS doesn’t care about those games. It’s all about CoD for them.
I'm so glad to hear this news because Avalanche deserves this. The amount of work that they've done is amazing. Basically, they just made the game that the fans have been asking for. Is it perfect? Hell no!
But it sure is fun to play. Riding a broomstick and performing spell combos alone are worthy of the price admission.
I just sincerely hope that WB Games doesn't get greedy and ruin the quality of future games by rushing their release or worse, do another live...
Rocksteady has been known for their awesome single player Batman games. With detailed game world, great story/characters, and fun combat as well.
It’s just so sad to see one of my fave developers show us a generic looking shooter looter that obviously doesn’t have the depth of their previous games.
They just launched the PSVR2 for Pete's sake.
Now's not the right time to provide more updates for their other games.
See this Rocksteady?
Good solid single player games still sell.
You should have given us an awesome single player game that you're known for making and not that live service crap.
I feel you bro. The game doesn't look bad or anything. It just doesn't feel like something that's been worked on for several years and looks meh.
I feel exactly the same way. I'm also a huge Rocksteady fan and have admired their work since the PS3 era. I can't help but feel underwhelmed by the latest footage that was shown.
That amount of sales considering it hasn't officially released on the Switch and previous gen consoles yet is unbelievable.
I'm about 20 hours in the game and still hooked.
There are still a lot of things that I need to discover and skills to unlock.
Great job Avalanche!
Will definitely check Ghostwire and give it a try.
Have also finished Uncharted Collection back in the PS4 several times but would definitely love to play it again with all the graphical enhancements for the PS5.
All we know is that Microsoft's plan is focus on acquiring more subscribers for their services instead of developing quality games.
This game was a ton of fun and was a great party/family game.
It's so sad how a lot of people are getting offended easily nowadays.
We didn't have these much snowflakes years ago.
I'm about 17 hours in the PS5 using Fidelity with Ray Tracing. It's been a consistent 30fps experience so far with no major drops whatsoever.
As a PSVR and Quest 2 owner, I cant wait to get my mind blown with the higher resolution and eye tracking feature. We've been hearing nothing but good things about the PSVR2. Add to the fact that it's way easier to setup than the first one without the cumbersome cables, separate box and camera. It's definitely going to be an awesome experience.
As much as we'd love to see one, we probably won't.
Microsoft is more interested in acquisition than innovation.
Which Oculus do you have?
If you're using the Quest 2 then you can check out some 3rd party replacement straps.
The BoboVR strap for example uses the same halo style mechanism similar to the PSVR.
They are probably in discussion and just throwing ideas around at the moment which hopefully includes Quidditch.
I'm also looking forward to future updates just to iron things out with the game.
I'm about 14 hours in with the game. Just got the broom, unlocked a couple of spells and talents. I'm having a blast right now and can't get enough of this game.
I really love how much they improved the experience for PSVR2.
One of the reasons why we didn't get to use the first PSVR that much was because of the cumbersome setup. It was a good product but was a nightmare to setup. Reconnecting HDMI cables, separate boxes, and additional power adapters was just too much of a hassle.
So excited to experience PSVR2.
And that's the sad part about this because we're not getting that game. :(
Just imagine!
An Arkham kind of game but this time you get to play as multiple characters. With amazing combat with polished Rocksteady is known for and each character have unique move sets and abilities to unlock and upgrade (instead of equipping everyone with the same guns so they play exactly the same way). With detailed Metropolis for you to actually EXPLORE (instead of just jump around in...
