Because it's hard to strike the balance between being too easy or challenging considering how powerful Superman is.
I'm a casual HP fan. Haven't read the books but have watched the movies. Having a pile of backlogs and also being subscribed to PS Plus Premium, I rarely purchased games day one. I decided to pull the trigger with this game since the premise looks promising enough and boy I'm glad I did.
Sure it doesn't reinvent the wheel in terms of gameplay or visuals but man is it fun to play and explore. Kudos to Avalanche for their passion in recreating this magical place. Defini...
That's what's keeping me from buying it as well.
I only play single player games on the PS5 anyways so I'm not gonna take advantage of certain features of it. Might as well save up for PSVR2 instead.
Remaster = exactly the same physics, gameplay but with higher resolution maybe a bit of texture polishing
Remake = slight gameplay tweaks and qol improvements, entirely new assets, textures ,etc
Reboot/Reimagine - same with remake but with huge gameplay changes, maybe changes on the story as well and new content not present in the original
Yeah keep telling that to the average consumer who couldn't care much about specs and just wants to play their pokemons.
This is the one thing that I don't get the moment I migrated from PS4 to PS5.
I mean why? It was so simple, accessible, and convenient. Why make it harder for the user to access turn off/rest the console when it's been working well with their previous console?
I skipped it during the PS3 era because of the bad reviews.
Last year I saw it was on sale for dirt cheap on PSN for the PS4 version. I told myself I'll give it a chance, it probably isn't that bad. Turns out the critics were right. It wasn't bad, it was horrible. Tried switching characters and still the same experience. I still regret buying it to this day.
I’ve been reading a lot of bad reviews since it was released back on the PS3. Last year I got the PS4 version on sale and said to myself I’ll give it a chance. I was hoping that maybe it isn’t as bad as others say it is. Well turns out, most of them were right. It sucks! Tried using another character and yeah it still definitely sucks!
They've been saying this for the past 2 generations.
Stadia sales says otherwise.
The more I hear about it the less interested I get.
They’re definitely going all live service with this one to generate even more money than ever.
I just hope we’ll still get a GTA4 remake in the future especially for the rest of us who just enjoys classic GTA single player gameplay.
And that's exactly why they made a mobile version
I've been dreaming of a Street Fighter game with similar art style to ArcSys games. That would be awesome!
Let's wait until someone actually gets hands on time with it. I've been reading this "we've rebuilt it from the ground up" statement for years and I hardly noticed any kind of major improvements at all.
You do realized that these companies are making more money out of subscriptions and services rather than console hardware sales right?
I'm really hoping so. But it's going to be really hard for them to do that. It's been a long time since I bought a WWE game (way back PS3 era). We deserve so much more than the last iteration. When the last few releases have stripped down gameplay and less features compared to the PS2 games, then clearly there's something wrong.
Exactly! These games deserve a better treatment than this. Yes, it wasn't Rockstar who actually developed this. But they still decided to green light the project with the knowledge that there's nothing definitive about it. The moment that I knew that it was based on the mobile versions, I knew that it would be downhill from there.
Modders doing massive improvements which only took a couple of days. Meanwhile, GSG would probably take a couple of months to release a major update which would still be inferior to mods.
I hope that they won't just release small fixes like these then abandon it afterwards. These games deserve so much more. Hopefully they would push for a bigger update since these games have major issues. I was actually excited and ready to buy this collection but ended up holding up after seeing the gameplay issues.
It would've been better if they added a classic mode wherein you can play the game with same old assets and textures but with higher resolution plus better framerate. At least players would have a choice.
GTA IV deserves a remaster/remake
GTA V was fun and all but GTA IV really felt like a next gen GTA when it was released
It also had more memorable characters
