MODS... oh wait.
Yeah. Wii U sold out at launch too. #neverforget
The stupidity of articles like these never cease to amaze.
Wait. Do people still think this is exclusive? Hint. It's not.
Ya know. That's what I thought when the Wii and the Amiibos were selling out and impossible to find. But rampant unfounded speculation on the internet proved me wrong. I always thought the comparison was funny that when Nintendo sells out its because of shady business practices but when Sony sell out it because they have a great product that everyone wants.
Look at them limiting stock to artificially increase demand. Oh wait. That's what everyone said Nintendo did. So was that something the internet made up or is Sony just as manipulative. Guess we'll never know.
58 million units sold for the 3DS and it's still going strong and you want to kill it. You clearly don't know how business works.
So It's an ipad with controllers that don't suck so I can play Mario Kart and Zelda in HD at work, in bed and on planes. Sold.
No need for sarcasm. They do all look like tech demos.
With such amazing titles as 100 Foot Robot Golf I can see why.
Oh man am I looking forward to 10,000 more of these articles.
Don't hold your breath.
Diablo 3 is my most played game... ever. So I will be there day 1 if Diablo 4 is indeed around the corner. But in all likelihood it'll be an expansion.
No so sure. Good game... Yup. Great game... Debatable. Game of the year... Not quite.
Considering the mediocre launch lineup I'm not exactly sold on the long term applications of VR. They need exclusive AAA games to convince people. Not stripped down shallow VR demos of better games (I'm looking at you Batman and Dive Club). PSVR will undoubtedly sell big out the gate but If there isn't constant big releases to keep people engaged then software and sales will dry up.
Yup. Dead cuz internetz say so.
Looks at Nintendo's stock (31.21). Looks at Sony stock (33.22)... I think they are gonna be alright. Although posting a hit piece article with a funny pic of Reggie is a pretty typical move to get clicks. One wonders what a company run by Mick Joest (who?) would be like seeing as he apparently knows everything about how business should run.
Until Dawn is a 3 hour "experience" that should be called House of the Dead VR. Drive Club is years old, no one knows what the hell Farpoint is aside from it being another generic FPS with no release date, Gran Turismo has no release date and frankly wasn't looking too hot to begin with, Ace Combat 7 doesn't look like anything to write home about, and we are all still waiting to see if Resident Evil 7 is any good at all considering the franchises track record of late. So n...
The real question isn't how may headset they sell. It's what games those early adopters are going to buy? Because call me crazy but I haven't seen a single reason to buy a VR headset aside from just having it. And if Sony believes that people are going to just sit around and wait for a genuinely good game to come along with mass appeal then they are crazy. There is literally no AAA experience to go along with their new 400 dollar glowing headset and I think come March next yea...
The Wii sold 100 million. Sales aren't everything.
