a similar version of what i said in your logic would be: difference between linear and open world games? alot less creativity, talent and effort in general.
i find linear games to have more of a chance to become boring and dull. since it does take much less effort and thought put into it, and thats a fact actually.

naah. the dumb part here is giving it another label when it didnt need one. it is the same type of addiction that applies to overdoing most forms of entertainment. its psychologically addictive basically. anyone with a little psych backround can tell how wide a net that term is, so i see no reason for this nonsense.
