Yes, playerunknown did work on the Arma mod and H1Z1, but he didn't own any or the design or genre, if anything what bluehole studio is accusing Epic of doing is what he did. he took the concept and gameplay of H1Z1 and made it into PUBG, so why are they being so hypocritical about it? why didn't they go after GTA V when they introduced a battle royale genre? should the creators of the Battle Royale book go after the hunger gam,es creator and PUBG as well?
i can see why they turned that one in FFX into a trophy, since you'll be doing that to collect the one celestial weapon anyways (if you want to), but i dont know if there was a similar activity in the original FF IX
1800p 60 fps normal shadows/1080p 60 fps high shadows is the way for me, I found that playing certain games in 30 fps make me feel a bit weird, which in the case of the last of us I don't get it, cause I played it on the ps3 and that was 30 fps, never bothered me then.
PC version hasn't released yet, and i'm not sure if they will have a retail version of that or not.
i feel like a good number of gamers are probably waiting on the PC version.
I was sorely disappointed the PS4 beta didn't have HDR. I tried it on pc which it did, and it was so good, it just enriches the game world that much more.
I was surprised myself to experiencing no problems while running just a 1080, in 4K with everything maxxed out except for depth of field on high (i usually dont like it in games) and AA at 4x instead of 16x, the beta ran flawlessly at 60 FPS for me, which goes a long way to show optimization.
i got to try it both ways and i was pleased! I played some PVP on my 144hz monitor and some PVE on my 4k tv, gotta say the HDR is fantastic and i was sorely missing it on the PS4 beta.
I would disagree about the importance of pre-loading. At least for me, is not really about bragging rights, cause really is just data, but when you got really shitty internet like I do, pre-loading way ahead of release is always welcome and kinda of a blessing. :)
With that said, making an article about which console gets the pre-loading first is indeed kinda dumb.

I'm tempted cause im one of those early adopters, but already having the Xbox one s (insane value for the 4K Drive), the ps4 pro, and a pc with i7 7700k and gtx 1080, i may not, since my pc can fill the gap and even allow me access to xbox games (the likes of FH3 and gears 4 for example) but again...im still tempted.

But Fortnite isnt a carbon copy of PUBG, there are no vehicles, you can't aim down sights, the scavenging and building mechanic alone adds something unique and different from PUBG, along with the level of destructibility.
