I had no problems understanding the MGS franchise's main games. MGS has some of the best if not the best boss fights because there were multiple ways of defeating them. I will never forget fighting with the boss in MGS 3. Or the end. Or psycho mantis to name a few. And the extra plot makes the world in MGS come more into fruition. You really have to play all the MGS games to enjoy them more. I guess I was always into MGS so I was into it every step of the way. And some of the events ment...
The older RE games definitely had more chills and randomness going on. You had no idea what was going to happen around the corner. I still remember playing the old RE games. And I still remember Lisa Trevors moans and groans on the remake of RE1 for the cube I thought it was released for coming from the basement in the mansion lol. And the puzzles were well put together in the older RE games. Some are still hard to figure out to this day similar to puzzles from Silent Hill. In the older RE ga...
The audio quality is better, either that or it sounds different that's for sure and there are more enemies on screen it seems. The victory fanfare is different for the pc as well but it might be possible to change it. So it is a bit different but still a great game to play on any platform.
You could hook up a DS3 to a pc to bring back more nostalgia. Speaking of nostalgia that PS and Squaresoft logo brings back memories. Also the PS chime you would hear, especially after trying to get a scratched up game to play lol. And the video shows a good comparison of the two.
Nostalgia: And that is awesome that you have a FF7 PSX. You should put up some pics of it I would want to see it. If only FF7 was remade like that intro sequence shown for the Ps3.

MGS really has a deep plot. There's MGS data base you can download off of PSN to help you understand more about the story and characters. And once you finish MGS4 some of the hidden contents become available in the data base you can get from PSN. MGS3:SE was probably my favorite but they are all really good. I suggest you start off with MGS3 because that is a prequel. Than start off MGS, MGS2 and MGS4. But once you do understand the story you probably will come to like MGS more so than be...
Imo this article contradicts itself. Just look at reason number 4. The dual shock was the first controller with as many inputs suggested in the article hence a pioneer to the amount of inputs found today in most gamepads. You could literally just have had put Ps3 controller in the title and it would be the same. But the truth of the matter is that there is no perfect gamepad. I enjoyed game controllers from previous generations as well and they will continue to improve.
A usb extension cable will do wonders. In fact I have one that is like 6ft added with the charging cable that came with the Ps3 system and you not only have a long cable but you could use this for a pc setup if you wanted to use a controller and wanted some distance from the monitor/tv.
Just wanted to add either way all batteries die eventually so you are screwed one way or the other. Now imagine having a controller that somehow charges itself by momentum or similar to solar...
Well you have been using the same controller with just tweaks added for each new generation of systems. The Ps3 controller does fit well but it depends on how you place your thumbs on the joysticks. I use the tips of my thumbs but if you lay your thumb on the joystick so it's more flat and extended a bit than you could essentially hit your other thumb on the joystick by accident depending on the rotation of both joysticks. This could be remedied if the middle part of the Ps3 pad was stret...
Well the best fps controller would be the N64 in my opinion. It felt like you were holding a weapon. I could be the outcast on this but I prefer using L1/R1 as triggers on the Ps3 controller and it's not b/c of the triggers which are indeed not as great as the 360's but I feel I get more precision with them. Hence when you use a pistol in a game your rate of fire is way better using L1/R1 rather than triggers.
And I think you meant to say wavebird instead of wawebird...
The hell with WWE give me ECW. Ec dub ec dub! I don't watch wrestling anymore but man it was way better in the 90's. You had WCW, WWE and my favorite EC f'n W. And wrestling games sure suck now a days compared to before. Survive If I let you...
I am a Ps3 gamer at heart but you just can't say that because let's face it it's all opinion. But the Ps3 does have a lot more exclusives though. When I bought the Ps3 way back in 07 I knew the games would come and they sure have. Both consoles are great systems now really but there will always be a preference factor involved. I do like the fact that the Ps3 provides different genre of exclusive games. But I feel that the Ps3 really needs a awesome new rpg game. It's lacking a...
The Ps3 system actually has swastikas that you can use in your speech bubble comment when you sign in online. There are two one that looks normal and the other one is a mirrored swastika. This is no bs either. it's located in another language. You can also use the star, music note, and even the ps controllers face button symbols as well. Random fact of the day lmao
Just so you know the voice actor for Alistair is also in Uncharted 2 and partially in U3 with the co op dlc. I would know b/c I own all of these games. He does a good job in U2 as well. I to hope that in DA3 all these characters return but alas getting the same voice overs will not be as easy I presume. Also captain jane way and tuvok from star trek voyager also voiced in DAO. Just a random fact
What about them turtles and shredder?
Wait until you start the endurance races, especially the 24hr ones. They take so long to do. About to finish my first 24hr race in B spec mode though.
The problem is people will only think of Gt5 as when it was released but it's totally upgraded now. So much more stuff added on people don't even know about it.
Look GT5 has a whole bunch of cars not sure why you think it has a small amount of cars. There's like over 100 premium cars man. And now all cars have interior view as well. I have the game btw psn id is dalibor but I doubt you can prove you even have Gt5. Gt5 has so many cars to get it's like an rpg really. Currently I have around 130 cars. There's still a lot more for me to get.
Martyrdom is not as bad as commando was. You could avoid martyrdom a lot easier than a commando. The killstreaks from Cod4 were fine but it got crazier after that game. Blops 2 seems like it's more gun on gun and that is a good thing.
this will be the last COD game...
... that 8 Days and Getaway 3 swoop in there somehow and has a playable level each for all the fans out there. Hell yeah!
