I really wasn't expecting MS to do that bad. I mean you did great with the 360 why mess that up(except the rrod fiasco). Sony and Nintendo still have not gone the route that MS has with all those crazy a** features and if they do then there is the PC to save us and retro gaming. And if something like this should happen maybe Sega might release a system... maybe... just maybe lol
What is the SATA speed for the PS4 HDD anyways? This faqing FAQ sheet did include that statistical stat. I'm guessing Sata 6 speed would be very nice if it does support that speed.
Why would you want digital only? I feel like a system loses impact for retro gaming when it's digital only. What happens when the online service is gone? You're screwed to an extent. Having both disks and digital is the way to go and does not restrict gamers choices for what they want. Remember disks can be played on any of the said system where as digital is confined to that hdd and if that goes well damn that is a bugger. And you get to keep games forever if they are on disks.
I thought that programs for PC's only take advantage of 4 cores max for the most part(for now). 8 cores is a lot and if properly used I'm sure it wouldn't have that much trouble running apps and games. Now if those 8 cores were running over 3ghz each damn that would be crazy. Remember it's not speed as much as the amount of cores now a days. If you have both that is the best combo ever. If I am wrong please correct me.

Definitely agree. With new technology brings forth innovation but with that innovation there can be consequences as well. At least there are older systems out there to choose from. Now I'm definitely not going to sell my PS3. Will have something to fall back on as well as having my PC and older systems. One thing that these companies can never take from us is retro gaming.

I say save that $ up all at once and just get it all at once to make the purchase and save $. That $ could be used for more games/whatever. And just because cell phones are subscription based like that does not warrant that it's the right thing to do or that it's okay. You have a choice and I say try to save some money in the end. Don't get ripped off.
It's going to be a fun game to play that's for sure. Would be cool if the single player had co op. Would be fun doing missions with other people.
I think that there needs to be a great medium to combine Kinect with a game. Doing both Kinect and utilizing a controller for a game might in fact make a great experience playing said game. It's all about getting it done and figuring out when to use Kinect and when not to. Now that Kinect is released with each system it will help. Problem is not everybody asked for Kinect to be bundled. I'm getting a PS4 and I sure don't want PS4 eye(camera) haha but hey that's just me though....
I'm always excited about new releases. Wish I could have experienced the NES/Genesis system announcements even though I ended up playing both of them back in the day even owning the NES system. Same goes to the even older consoles, can't forget about them.
I better start saving up myself. Wonder if your friends list will transfer from the PS3 to PS4. Can't imagine starting over again. And the PS4 better not have always online. While online capabilities did in fact bring new elements to gaming look what has become of it. Totally not what I was expecting...

This should happen with whatever system you choose. Gaming is all about having fun and escaping the crazy world. And N4G(all other websites on the internet) is also about having some fun on the side so long as you don't take s**t seriously. Haha the XB1 controller does look great but you do know that you can get used to either controller. You have to be adaptive. I have no problem using either one. The only big difference is the analog placement and how big they are. The DS4 looks to be a bit bulkier than DS3 but I will try it for myself and see. What they should have done was make both controllers being capable of being used for either system. Now that would be a neat feature. All in harmony lol
I think he/she was talking about games. MS seemed to show off more of the Kinect rather than games. Kinect should have been the last thing they talked about or showed really but lets see what MS shows off at E3 as far as games go same for Sony.
Not sure how you could prefer the DS4 over the One controller since they are not yet available to the public. I need to get my hands on both and test them out. I have used so many controllers haha ever since the Nes. I will say they both look nice and seem comfortable to hold. What I want to see is how the triggers on DS4 compare to DS3. And give us more colors to cheese from.
While no company is perfect lets see what Sony and MS have in store for E3. The Xbox 1 does not look like anything I would have imagined though. MS should have stuck with the 360 design but worked upon it. And thank goodness it supports Blu ray, those disks are great thanks to the coating it has so games can last a lot longer without getting scratched up and bruised.
