Aaron Greenberg is not good at conveying marketing messages. Please stop.
Good, now everybody go play it!
Yes, we can agree. It's really shocking after seeing the amazing remakes Activision has been doing.
Really bad idea. What are you doing Microsoft!? I was hoping Phil Spencer would right the ship but they have made a lot of mistakes lately and it's adding up to a big next-gen loss. I suppose MS isn't really trying to compete in that way - they've been focused on services and add-ons to make money. It's the Office 360 model.
I've always bought the MS console at launch and picked up the Sony console later when the price drops, but that might be changing f...
Sounds pretty cool actually. I think I'll check this one out. Good review, thanks!
Aaron Greenberg has been awful for Xbox. Their marketing and messaging needs to change drastically.
I thought Halo looked fine, but it's true that Sony has artists and designers that are leagues above what Xbox Studios has. I'm hopeful for amazing looking games from Ninja Theory, but not any of the other studios Microsoft bought. At least Game Pass has been a great service.
Wait, what's the other option?
Seriously, if you need to rely on a price increase or microtransactions to make money on your game, then you're doing it wrong. I refuse to pay 70 for a game. I can and will wait for sales, thanks.
70 is pushing the limit for me. It's going to be rare for me to buy a game at that price. I'll be waiting for sales, or just sticking with Game Pass.
Warhawk is great! I remember playing that pyramid level on a demo disc hundreds of times until I finally mowed enough lawns to buy the full game.
Actually makes NBA 2k20 playable when starting MyCareer mode (after the easy story mode). Thanks!
I'm actually a big fan of Arms, probably one of the few - so I'm more interested in the fighters pass after this announcement.
Wow! Once the VR update comes out, I'll be buying Dreams.
I remember one of the developers of the Lion King mentioning that Disney told them to make the game harder so that players couldn't beat the game during the course of a rental. That's why you see the difficulty spike during the "I can't wait to be king" level (level 2 or 3, I can't quite remember).
I assume many of the publishers at the time may have had the same thoughts on that.
I really feel that both Sony and MS are giving it their all for this next generation. It's great to see the competition - and I'll be getting both as well!
I would agree with the headline's assessment. However, if Series X has a lower price point - I doubt it will, but IF it is less expensive - we could see Xbox chip into that lead much more.
I love new console generations, can't wait to see what happens!
If you have a gaming PC you really can't go wrong. I don't, so I still rely on playing consoles. However, I won't be buying on day one like I usually do. My gaming backlog is so large that I can wait.
Boom. Purchased. Thanks!
499 is the max they could go. I'd be shocked if they sell it for 399, shocked and ready to purchase at that price!
