Played the demo and really enjoyed it. I'll check out the full game for sure.

I don't mind fixed camera angles with slower paced games, but I agree with your comment. It feels dated, but as an older gamer that fondly remembers playing silent Hill and resident evil when they first came out, there is a nostalgic feeling for me when watching this gameplay.

I know the Super Star Wars games weren't "technically" great (loads of slow-down, imprecise controls) and were super difficult, but I loved these games growing up and still enjoy playing them from time to time.
Agreed. Especially since these environments are all inside and it's happening when only one enemy is onscreen. There's still plenty of time to fix, but I wonder about the dips in an outside environment with at least 3 enemies onscreen at once.
People were gaming the system to get their games to the top of the sales chart. However, this seems like the worst of all the available options to fix this issue.
I remember buying this game as a kid. Cost me $52.99, a lot of lawns were mowed to get that money. It was all worth it, though I had to always enter the 9 lives cheat to get through the game.

While I love this device, I do wish it had a stand similar to the Switch so it can stand up on my desk while in time mode. Also, my guess is they'll do a Zelda one of these that includes Zelda 1 and 2. Can't wait for that one!
No regrets here. In fact, I can't imagine going back to my old Xbox. Series X is fast and responsive. The games load extremely fast and older games look better with auto HDR. They also feel better with snappier menus and fast load times. The d-pad on the controller is also amazing. It's true, you will have to wait for first-party games that truly take advantage of the powerful hardware, but there's so much good stuff to play already because of the bc and game pass. I think it depends on the game. I've yet to have it work on Watch Dogs Legion, but it's worked for me on Tetris Effect and Untitled Goose Game. I'll have to check out some other games to see if it works.
Over 100 hours of it was spent watching the animation to loot dead bodies.

It is strange. No issues for me either (in fact not one crash on my XSX at all). Although we see these types of articles for all new systems after they launch - where every minor glitch and bug is made into a big deal.
It's enjoyable for awhile at least, but I got tired of the hunger and thirst meter constantly being low. They drain too quickly, and you can't carry too much food around or it spoils. Constantly having to find food and drinks is annoying.
The running animation looks odd.
