I think the whole ending with part 1 is simply his way of giving people an option to save Aerith when Sephiroth is suppose to kill her. Maybe enough people complained to him when he was working on the script that he thought “Wouldn’t it be cool if you could save your Waifu?” and now we have this. I think the story will still unfold the same way we end up with the falling meteor star but like maybe we end up having two endings, one where we follow the original story for avid fans, or a new end...

After the major update the game is really good, run smoothly and has a pretty dope story. I like how the main character is human, and he lie his ass off to save his skin like we would in a real situation. He also has no hero complex like most idiots and just live to make it
