Thanks for the reply. I might do it. I've found that playing games outside my normal genres have landed me some gems that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Dragons Dogma and Project X Zone come to mind. I'll check out some gameplay videos on YouTube before I make the jump. But hearing from people who love the genre, helps far more than just seeing it being played on screen. To understand what people love about something, will help me understand what it is I'm trying to adopt a...
Yeah, I want to give this a go too but it would be my 1st foray in the turn based world. Any pros here to help us newbies out? Wanna see what all the fuss is about
I'll try DtD. Not really my style of game but I'll give it a shot. The rest... no
Shit. I'll happily take a Prime Remaster at this point. Metroid is sorely missed, en mi casa.
If you're gonna do it, do it now while the pickings are slim. That game will be sitting there front and center with NO competition near it. Get it while the getting is good.
Klonoa? Yup. Good stuff. Mario could learn a thing or two from that game.
I can see where you'd say that, but I was so awestruck by what Retro had accomplished that it was the 1st time in a game where I noticed that I was WALKING everywhere. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I felt privileged to play it. Nothing short of miraculous. The back tracking didn't bother me because I didn't want to leave that world, ever. I've 100% that game on hard at least 12 times. Very few games get, or have ever gotten that from me. That the back tracking ...
If when you're playing a game and you feel like the game is pushing all the right buttons and that you couldn't ask for anything more from it...10. No game is perfect but whatever flaws exist are overshadowed but what it gets right. Done. I'm playing it. I'm giving it a 9, but I can see what it's getting 10's for.
Unless it's Metroid Prime. That game deserved all the 10's it got and actually, it's an 11.
Ha, I'm interested in Grim's "rebuttal" to your damning comment. Hilarious.
Yeah Dragons Dogma is the only 360 game I have left. Praying for the day it's bc, so I can bust back into it. It's been too long. Along with Burn Out Revenge, Blur and Split Second
Please Jesus, VR support.
$500-$550 max. They do not have enough software in their arsenal to coax people into buying and and some cases, abandoning their current xb1, in favor of a higher price machine. If they were in Sony's position right now, they'd probably be able to get away with a $700 machine. But, where they currently sit now, a 700 dollar machine would be suicide.
I wish Sport was their version of Horizon and GT7 was their real deal sim. Really put the screws to MS to deliver on Scorpio. Competition is good
Yes, but did you know that Gran Soren is the beating heart of all Gransys?
Exactly
Dragon's Dogma or bust!
I'm at a 9 and I'm currently at 60+ hours. My complaints: the main dungeons are too small-too few-too easy and it rains too damn much. The weapon breaking doesn't bother me all that much but I can see where that would piss off others. One thing I think detractors of this game aren't taking into consideration, that I think reviewers unconsciously are, is the hardware this game is being played on. If this game, in it's current state, was released for the PS4 Pro, it would be...
My library and back log are incredible right now. See you on Black Friday ME:A. Ya blew it
Ok, cool. I'm not the only one. DD would be perfect for the Switch.
Nope
