I just picked this up and while I wouldn’t say it’s the best way to play, it is a good one. If you’re a Switch only gamer and you need to get your hunt on, this is money well spent.

This problem with gender and race, is so easily side stepped with a create a character option. Let the player decide and everyone is happy. Problem solved. My problem with this white male protagonist, is that I can’t tell if he’s a white male or a white transgender that identifies as a male. I can confirm this. Luckily, I wasn’t that far into the game and I love it. So, I’m not too bothered. If I was further, I’d be pissed.
It wasn’t bad, it just strayed too far from the established formula. I’m most certainly in the minority, but it’s my favorite of the series. I played it on the Scorpio on a 75” 4K so, I had fun.

Never played the first two only 3 and 4. I loved 3 and 4 got stale very quickly. The 3rd was one of the few games in my gaming career that I became sad when it was over. It was fun from beginning to end. I could use more of that.
Here’s hoping for a return to form. Few things are better than a come back. I’m rooting for ya.
I never really figured out why I put in over 2 hundred hours into this game on 360, but I’m about to do it again. Can’t wait!
