No 4K? No sale. I’ll regrettably admit, my 4K tv has turned me into a snob. I kinda demand it now that I’ve seen what it can do. Update it with a 4K patch and I’ll buy it. Otherwise, nope.
Same here. I’ve got the complete edition and I’ve been quietly dying for this update so I can finally try this game out. It’s been sitting on my shelf, unopened for months.

I played it on the Pro, on a Samsung 65” MU9000 4K and I was not impressed. I’m gonna blame HZD for my lack of enthusiasm. MHW comes nowhere near HZD. I’ve been spoiled. I tried each of the three settings and all three left me with a shoulder shrug. It’s passable. If HZD didn’t exist, I’d probably be wowed. But, it does exist... so, not wowed. The gameplay was cool though and not having a loading screen pop up every 30 footsteps for a new section of the map, is a godsend. I’m buying it. But c...

You can have as many as you want running in tandem with each other. But, you have a 5gb limit. Which may not sound like much, but I’ve got about 30 mods going at once and it’s a literal game changer. Achievements are disabled though if you use them. So ya know... there’s that. Good with the bad
Edit: if you’re gonna do it, you should go to YouTube and watch load order videos. There’s a pattern to doing it right

I’m playing it now. It’s tutorial, after tutorial, after tutorial. Hours of playing and I finally landed on my 1st titan with Pyra and the before you’re allowed to even move... TUTORIAL.

Yup, it does and that’s kinda bs if you’re only using graphics mods. As a test, I tried a couple out, because I didn’t like having my achievements removed either. But I tried Vivid Weathers, Surreal Lighting, Realistic Water 2 and Static Mesh. Then I said “Uh oh... there could be no going back after this” And I haven’t gone back
Edit: if ever you beat or tire of the game or you’re about to trade it in, slap a few mods on that bad boy. It’ll breathe new life into it guarant...

Now, I don’t know what vanilla 4K looks like (i got a ton of mods going) but with mods I got... I can assure you, Skyrim has never looked better.
Don’t know why I got 2 disagrees for that, but whatever. @timotim I hope it does that. I’ve got a few awesome mods that I hope I get to keep, like: Static Mesh, 8k Water, Skyland, Vivid Weather and others that I can’t remember while driving and texting. I’ll find out tonight
Cool. I’ve been holding off on playing Skyrim until this, I’m about a quarter of the way through. Wondering if using graphical mods will mess up the update though.

Great game. Originally, I wanted it for my Switch, but it took for forever, so I got it on PS4. I hope it’s as solid as it is on PS4 but the delay gives me pause for concern. For all interested Switch owners, I hope it’s as equally excellent. Good luck!
