I'd agree if you made this comment a couple years ago, but I think MS has made it pretty clear. From hardware to services to bolstering their 1st party studios, it's safe to say the Xbox brand isn't going anywhere.
Looks like there will be some SoT new content shown here. But honestly as long as everything still comes to GamePass, I'm still in it for Xbox One/PC. Wasteland 3 and Ori 2 are my next anticipated titles.
Lonely lads play this sad desolate game farming for Facebook likes to try and make their menial walking seem like something more.
Right? Like Kojima blaming the low review scores on Americans because all we like are fps shooters.
"There are people who will find it laborious."
Aka, the game is laborious but I'm a Kojima fanboy so I tricked myself to thinking I like this kind of gameplay.
Yes, absolutely. I would much rather had Death Stranding in movie or tv series form. That way I can watch the story without having to play that horribly boring gameplay in between.
Days Gone at least looks fun in a traditional gaming sense. Death Stranding sold because of its creator.
They have had a rough year with game releases.
Yeah I'm not 100% on grounded gameplay. The action set peices are still over the top, she still does Death defying moves, she takes multiple wounds and keeps going, she is making in the field upgrades to weapons etc.
Grounded isnt really a reason I'd use haha
Grounded gameplay, but it also offered very video gamey systems like upgrades, amd progression unlocks, and skills, and branching paths etc. That is what puts it over Uncharted for me.
But no doubt UC has the better characters and character driven story.
For me UC4 was the weakest. I honestly found myself very bored, the story was kind of weak with some forced in elements, and the semi open areas just felt like filler.
I love both, but you're blind or just a fanboy if you think TR doesnt have the better gameplay variety and systems.
Gameplay has much more variety, puzzles may be uninspired in the first two, but at least it offers variety and are still better than any in Uncharted. Open areas to explore for upgrades and crafting, a sense of progression as you acquire more items that unlock other paths, side missions, using your bow for zip lines and much more, hunting for crafting etc.
There is just so much more involved in TR gameplay wise then Uncharted. And the final one takes it to even greater heig...
Tip #1: Deliver on time
Tip #2: Dont damage packages
Tip #3: Remember customer service is key "What can brown do for you?"
Tip #4: Repair your boots so you dont trip like any idiot
Besides the characters, Tomb Raider does do everything else better. And I play games for gameplay before characters and story.
Americans just like actual fun gameplay. Even compared to other Japanese/European games, even compared to Kojimas own past games, Death Stranding is missing engaging gameplay. So dont blame it on us only liking FPS games. I thought he was supposed to be smart?
Tedious gameplay systems, main objective is delivering/fetching and most of that is walking, empty barren world, same enemies over and over and over (once you encounter BT's once, the intrigue is over), myriad of cringey product placements, combat is not engaging...
Great graphics, great acting, great soundtrack, hit or miss story, terrible gameplay.
clickbait as a mofo. Gamerant looking for some traffic.
