Sony will not drop the price. They will make more money this way. Once the sales slow down than they are more likely to drop the price. Every company is going for the most profit.
Even though the game sucks it is going to sell a lot just because of the name" Resident Evil".

I got my PS3 right after launch and only had 3 games in the first year now I have 20+ games. It was worth waiting.

MS is trying to create demand for the 360 as Nintendo is doing with the Wii. Once GTA4 is out there will be no shortage.

I got a 60GB PS3 at launch. A few week later it would not load the disks any more. I was making a popping noise. Called Sony. Two days later ups deliver a box so i could ship it back to them. About a week later i got my ps3 back. Has not stopped working since than. Over two years now and no problems.
