That it is not a must buy. More like an impulse buy.

If people researched there purchases and actually calculated there expenses (console lifetime) on the consoles. Some might realize that they would be paying more for a 360 than expected (even more than a PS3).
Talking about the hidden charges. He named only 3, the biggest expense is the subscription. For a full lifetime of the console the subscription ends up costing more than the console itself. that's a price no ...

That is like saying that baby A and baby B were both concieved at the same time, same date, same month, same year.
Baby A was born early as promised (but with a hot head and some serious defects)
Baby B was born a year later (but with a few flaws, not as many as Baby A)
But you are saying that they are the exact same age.
THAT JUST DOESN'T ADD UP.

That is like saying that When Baby B was born he already knew how to walk, run, talk, and be the same a...

I have my BMW, With proper care it'll last for 250,000+ miles, reliable, and smooth to drive.
I have my loud, faulty, often recalled Jeep Cherokee, that'll burn up when left on an extended period of time.
And WE (including child) have a big-wheel(default) that rarely transforms into a Mini Cooper convertible with no accessories (no radio, no GPS, etc)

I agree, one focal question on every application should be: Do you prefer one system over the other? What is your PSN name? What is your Live Gamertag? for background research.

I walked into a store Tuesday, to get a printout of upcoming PS3 titles. The employee asked "what kind of games I was interested in?" I give this particular guy a pass because he does no know my Microsoft experience. But his store Manager, which is pretty familiar with me, does and he w...

PS3 owners actually had a game much like it to compare against... Uncharted was/is the comparison. I myself rented TR to compare it to Uncharted. 360 owners did not really have a game worth comparing it to.

Before I read this: I already smell an XBox360 article coming...

While reading this: I notice that the they comment on the 360 Last. as in save the best for last. or rather Pump it up.

After reading this: I still see that no one ever seems to calculate a full store purchase of everything needed for a system. They started to with the Wii but did not say much about the PS3 or the 360. That I think is misleading to the consumer.

At current demand the majority teenagers want the better model 360 Elite ($399 US) but will settle for the Pro ($299 US) or the Core ($259 US). Not many will be happy with the Arcade ($199 US).
Then your Teenager is gonna want to play with his friends against the best of the best on Live add another $50 for the Gold Membership for 1 year, $100 for 2 yrs, for the lifespan of the 360 adds up to maybe $300 6yrs $350 for 7yrs.
For my Teenagers enjoyment In a 6 yr. lifespan I woul...

Buy It... Update it... Play it...
*Out of the box* the flaws are there. But after the updates I will say this... Never base your purchase on a review/ someone else opinion. If you are sceptic of the purchase because of the review rent it.
When everything is running as smooth as butter it is at least an 8.5
when not so smooth I'd still give it more than 4.5.

While playing yesterday I remember hearing this song, and this is after the patch. I do not think that the song was removed completely because I heard it and while listening I thought to myself that it was catchy, and wondered if this was the song. Now that I heard it somewhere else I don't think they removed the song but maybe edit out the lyrics. I'll come back later with the Level that I heard that song on.

The first Walmart had already removed them from the shelf earlier in the morning. But I could tell that some were there cause they still had the price stickers there. The second Walmart still had them on the shelf so I asked for one and when he went to ring it up at the register the register had a cannot sell this item (or something to that nature) when I asked if a Manager could override that he called one back and it would not let hime ring it up either. They checked the Walmart release ...

Is that the letter stated that to correct the problem Sony and MM should run a day 1 patch to attempt to rectify the problem. As for those that are going to buy this game are going to want to take full advantage of what it offers (Play, Create, and Share). In order to really enjoy the game you should be compelled to play it online. Why would anyone pick this game up to only play offline.
Just like Capcom's "Zack & Wiki" and Activision's "Call of Duty 4". <...

No one seems to notice that while Microsoft is wallet muscling Sonys past 3rd-Party Franchises giving its gamers a lot of the same old stuff, SOME new IPs here and there. Developers do not seem to move on when dealing with MS. Part of Microsoft main objective(MO) is to develop the same old s*** and call it the next best thing (Windows, Office, Halo) same thing different look.
I.E. Bungie - Had to get away from MS so they can have a chance to create something better than Halo. ...

* How about flares that detonate missiles, which is a good defense for those that chase there targets. Not always relying on the air mines.

* A map with two large stationary aircraftcarrier that launches all types of aircraft with key destruction(new gameplay)/takeover(zones) points.
In which case each carrier has 5 control points/zones (enemy zones do not serve as spawn points and are destroyed) thus a good reason to have spawn mines which can only be placed in dead, n...

The Same happemed to me when I went to my 1st Graders school to eat Lunch with them. My son started a conversation about games and that lead to talking about the Wii.
I heard "I'm gonna get one for Christmas"
"I want one for Christmas" "I want one for my B'day", "My Dad has a PS3/360, but I'm getting a Wii"
Fact is that even though that is just a handfull of people it showed me that even with a PS3 or 360 in the house kids 12 and...

I agree with you on some of what you said but I have to disagree with you about the 360 Selling more than Wii for the holiday season. The Christmas season will be just like every Christmas.
"Mom and Dad, I want this I want that for Christmas"
I've heard more "Can I/ I want a Wii for Christmas" waaaaay more than I want a 360 for Christmas. I recently had the opportunity to go to my sons school and eat lunch with him and 2 of his friends The minute 1 kid star...

For the Holiday Season they will probably have a package deal. 3 Game packaged with a PS3. Resistence:FOM (Greatest Hits) with Resistence 2 and LBP at a steal of a deal (one old, one new for the adult, one new for the family.) A Shooter package: R:FOM, R2, with SOCOM: Confrontaion A Family Package: LBP, Buzz Quiz TV, a greatest hits title maybe R&C. This may be the package year deal for the PS3 for the Holidays. Other plans for marketing without a price drop.
