If as you say the maps are to small for snipers to hardscope as you call it then maybe sniper rifles should not be in the game. Why put them in a game and make them overpowered just to have them in it, other than to be annoying.

Try TES III: Morrowind, Oblivion was watered down for the casual gamers so Bethesda could make themselves more money, Beautiful game for its time but boring and watered down. If you want a challenge and more hours of play than Oblivion buy Morrowind(100X better).
