This was Microsoft's chance to redeem themselves for the awful press conference last year.
They failed miserably, in my opinion.
For some reason I was naive and had expected more of them.
The Halo stuff was good and all, as was Gears, but there was nothing else except for Kinect stuff.
I was disappointed to find out that Codename: Kingdoms, now named Ryse, turned out to be a Kinect title.
@LogicWins, it only goes to show that they were not so much fans of Insomniac's work as they were happy with them doing PS3 Exclusives. They are PS3 fanboys and as long as Insomniac only fell under the PS3 umbrella they were happy.
If you are going to bash Insomniac or stop buying their games because they went multiplatform then you are not a true Insomniac fan.
People need to chill out, PS3 still has Resistance and Ratchet and Clank only, while eve...
Big deal.
It's still early and I highly doubt that the Zelda tech demo was from PS3 or 360, only the clips from multiplat games like Ninja Gaiden and Metro Last Light were from PS3/360.
If the Zelda clip was made up of WiiU tech, then I dont think we have anything to worry about. I imagine they didn't have enough time to cook up a sizeable reel of demos made up of WiiU tech this early in development and so they pieced together the reel of PS3/360...
G4 does have an HD channel, I know because I was watching it. It's 1080i. Check your local listings.
A Gamecube launch game that turned out to be one of the highlights of the system.
I figured that a sequel was inevitable for Wii for use with the WiiMote as the vacuum and flashlight, but I'm glad that it's coming for 3DS.
Cannot wait.
I'm already playing Super Mario Land and I'm waiting for Legend of Zelda Links Awakening to launch later today.
This game looks amazing, the main Super Mario games never fail to impress me.
Also, new Super Smash Bros for WiiU and 3DS. Squee. That is all.
Did anybody mention storage capabilites?
Are they going to use a new version of the Wii Optical Disc or a new disc format?
Also what about data storage, is the WiiU gonna use hard drives or SD cards?
I'm glad Nintendo is finally getting a capable online service. I bought a few games off Virtual Console but I never played games online and the service that is there isn't very good. It's manageable, but it could be better.
I'm curious to see what new enemy the Chief will be fighting this time.
From the trailer I'm gonna hazard a guess and say that it's Unicron. I guess that makes Minicons the flood.
Im looking forward to going back to the way Halo used to be. By the time 4 launches next year it will have been 5 years since we last saw the Chief. I'm hoping for a brand new experience and a fresh story while being able to retain the playstyle of old Halo.
Woo hoo looks like Master Chief is going to give Unicron an epic butt whuppin.
Also Halo Anniversary, so excited for that.
Nah nah forget that. Give Travis Touchdown a Master Sword and a couple Pokemon and send him to their houses.
Call it Operation: No More Lulz.
PS: Tomba ftw
Windows Phone 7 is the only possible thing I could see it working with for 360, but I don't think that will be happening.
Isn't it crazy?
MGS3 is now coming out twice this year. I already own Snake Eater and Subsistence but it seems now I'll be owning two more versions.
BTW, during the Pre-E3 Konami show during the MGS3D trailer when Snake took out the binoculars and looked around and saw the Yoshi figure, I lol'd.
Nope.
They're fueled by the souls of gamers around the world that Activision has stolen.
You can't see souls, but they're there.
I think both handhelds are great and I plan on getting the Vita, no matter how dumb the name is. (Lets just call it NGP for now) It does look to be a graphics powerhouse what with Uncharted and such coming out for it at launch, its most likely a day 1 buy.
As for the 3DS...
(looks over at blue 3DS on charger)
...I'm good. No matter how much of a beast the NGP looks to be, it doesn't have Mario. 'nuff said.
Yes this is so awesome. Not only a MGS HD Collection, but ZOE too!
edit: the mgs collection is on 360 too? Thats pretty cool. For all the people getting pissy about it being on 360, mgs2 was already on Xbox anyway, and now everyone gets to play MGS3, which i think is the best in the series, and Peace Walker.
A Zelda 25th anniversary collection like the Mario 25th anniversary All Stars collection sure would be awesome.
Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link
A Link to the Past
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
All on one disk for Wii or Cafe.
Let the speculation begin.
Legend of Dragoon 2.
That is all.
I quite like the Yakuza games, tbh.
I thinks it's fine because if they applauded their own stuff they'd just be called arrogant. Sega is just commending Sony for the way they handled the PSN debacle.
Because Sony backed Blu Ray and MS backed HD-DVD.
Now it's Nintendo's turn to bring a new format to market. Of course this is all rumors but it certainly would be awesome if they could implement it. Imagine that, Nintendo goes from having the least space with what 4 or 5 GB on a Wii Optical Disc to having a 300GB space, minimum. If it works then they could work with this format for the next few console generations as well, since it will be quite some time before any...
Well done good sir.
On topic: I think these hackers deserve to be strung up by their ankles and beaten about the face and crotch with Louisville Sluggers.
But that's just one guys opinion.
