Im an RPG fanatic, been playing them since Dragon Warrior 1. To tell you the truth, I played the demo to this game and fell so in love with the graphics that I bought the game. Its gorgeous. But the gameplay is really lame. I dont know why everyone is talking about this game like the ps3 needs it,, cause we dont need it on the console. Its just a plain ol boring game. Story sucks, and the gameplay is pretty much just like any Tales game, but worse.
Both my ps3 and my 360 are hooked up via HDMI, so I know thats not the problem. It was even worst though, when I had the component cable hooked up on my 360 before i got an hdmi cord for it. Changing cords fixed the problem dramatically, but not indefinitely. As for better textures on multiplats on the 360, that was so 2007.

I will rent these from gamefly. My reason being is because Call of duty 5 and Quantum Solace are gonna be out when these games come out which in my opinion are 1 day buys for me. I think R2 and Gears 2 are completely overrated, and far from realistic. I hate any shooter that requires you to shoot somebody more than 2 or 3 times to kill them.

All this game does more than RE4 is better graphics and online, which is good, but I expected some kinda innovating gameplay. I still dont understand why you can strafe and shoot at the same time. Every other game has evolved, and Resident Evil is not better than any other formula to have not done the same.
I would rather see Marvel vs. Dc , but then Marvel would have way more characters. Let me sit on this for a sec, im sure I can think of something better than this crap. Wait I got it, how bout Microsoft vs. Sony Allstars? Oh wait, that wouldn't be fair. Kratos would pwn everybody.
So many titles that I cant just name one. I could name like 50 of the top of my head that were way addicting,, even today they are. Battle of Olympus, Snake Rattle N Roll, Battletoads. The list can go on and on.
It would be cool if they would actually put out some games worth talking about sometimes.

Also, I disagree about this game not standing up to any of the competitors. Brothers in Arms can very well be a sleeper hit this year, as there arent that many tatical shooters since Rainbow 6 Vegas has went down the drain. Damn you EA! But seriously, you guys should just wait to really judge this game until the demo comes out, and I bet you guys will be singing a different tone.
Its an RPG. If you read any of my previous post about Fallout, then you would know how I feel about that game. Its the most overrated game @ E3. Personally, I was so hyped for the game till I saw the E3 videos. I cant believe that you can shoot a nuke at somebody 20 yards away and not die from your own blast. That game is an epic failure.. You wanna see a good nuke bomb? Look at some gameplay footage from Mercenaries 2. Now thats the way a nuke should look when you fire one.

Its a dumbed down RTS, which isnt a bad thing. I just think that its too shallow to really be considered a really good RTS. I wish there was a Total War on consoles.. That would be epic!

Im not being a fanboy,,, i just think that if they make RTS's, they should make them on the ps3 because of its keyboard and mouse support. I bought a really nice bluetooth keyboard and mouse for my comp, and with the press of a button, I can use it for my ps3. Its a genius invention, is it not?
Dont get me wrong, the devs that made this are freakin masters of art. Eternal Sonata is probably the most beautiful game I have ever seen. But it just fails miserably at being a good rpg. It lacks everything that an RPG should be, and that is story, gameplay, sense of adventure and being able to explore and look for treasure. You just cant get any of that stuff out of this game. The gorgeous graphics just cant make up for any of that stuff.
