I'll wait for a price drop or goty edition. that's what Bioware gets for cheaping out.
I can probably agree with most of those reviews. I'm a huge RPG fan, and mass effect does not appeal to me at all. This game was made to appeal to the casual shooter fan, which is very disappointing, considering I've supported Bioware and all their work up to this date. Plus add the day1 DLC controversy and you got yourself a bunch of people who are boycotting the game. I myself will wait for a price drop.

On a side note, if I hear anything about DA3 before next year, I know it's going to be another rushed piece of garbage. I don't want that game to release until 2014, if it's any sooner, I know it's been rushed just like DA2 was.

This won't compete with any of those. This will just be a very easily customizable PC for people who aren't tech geeks. I think this is a fantastic idea. Valve can really make a new market for themselves if they do this right.
343 is a lot more talented than people realize. Microsoft actually didn't cheap out this time, they went out and hired a lot of experience people from very well known companies. I can't wait to see what they've done with the franchise!
Halo reach's multiplyer was not very competitive which kind of turned me off from the game altogether, from the things I've read that 343 has said, they're really looking to change that.
More importantly, why are they allowed to use the engine? Doesn't microsoft have the rights to all things that bungie created for the halo universe? Or is an engine not included in that? Because, 343 is also using a heavily modified reach engine to build halo4...
Hopefully they can do some more creative things this time around. Fable3 was a good game, but it wasn't much different than fable2, which is why I was kind of disappointed.
If Gabe newell took a poop and decided to sell it, I'd buy. That's how much respect I have for that man.

Have you looked at the ridiculous amounts of DLC that bioware has already made for this game? this game is going to have so much DLC! ME2 had 3 pieces of actual DLC (not counting zaeed), and the third was like 40 minutes long. I'll be waiting for a huge price drop/complete edition. EA should be happy that I have enough self respect to not pirate their product... Hell they probably deserve to get their stuff pirated.
But Bioware is in no shape to be making another Baldur's gate right now. Not after what they have done with Dragon Age and Mass effect. They have to get their stuff together first.

I'm boycotting. Bioware/EA deserves no more of my money. I've been purchasing their games for so long, and they just keep dumbing their product down in order to appeal to the largest possible audience. I'm tired of it, you can only go so far in terms of broadening the audience until you get to a point where all games are alike. It stops innovation.

I'm a PC and console game and I'm still not buying ME3. Bioware sold out! I'm done with all bioware product!
PS. Steam might have been a software which was not that good in the past, but Gabe Newell never ran a company like the way EA is run. You can make all the arguments you want, but you will never be able to compare Valve to EA. NEVER!
