Lol...Sony, how about slashing the price by $35 for this whack headset...Its already going to fall out of my ear. That is not creating value for me...This was part of your marketing strategy; haven't you looked at other companies who specialise in headsets. This is maybe 2001?

If this is true then it all makes sense. In MGS4, Big Boss to my recollection, did not share the same voice as Solid Snake. Having Hayter voice act both Big Boss and Solid would not sit right. No two people sound exactly the same anyway.
This is the first game where I have seen developers put into play active clouds. Water is always great, but man, the clouds don't just move across the sky so to speak, they actually form!
Can't wait for this game, I do not mind the lengthy cutscenes nor the short cutscenes. What do you guys thinkg of Sutherland as Snake? I did not mind at first from the announcement, but I don't think Sutherland's voice fits Big Boss...Doesn't sound like a 49 year old guy, sounds younger. But I am sure I will get used to it.
@Reko...If you preorder the bundle through amazon, you will receive it from Jan 1st to 6th or 6th to 8th, but if you do two day shipping, you will get it by 8pm december 31st according to amazon which is their release date for PS4. Sony hasnt actually yet revealed a release date. I changed it to two day shipping, guaranteed day one. If Sony reveals a nov 21st release date, with two day shipping I will receive it that day.
David Hayter will always be Snake...I do not mind Sutherland voice acting as Big Boss although I will miss the Hayter's voice in MGS:V. I think Keifer will do an excellent job, and I am interested to see how this plays out within the game. From a business stand point, I think it was an excellent move. The Xbox reveal hasn't affected my anticipation for the PS4 at all. I do however, think the user interface for the Xbox is pretty awesome. Though I rather not watch tv or movies through a console. The console itself looked sleek, but boy does it look heavy and we all know it is a huge "box". Just wish they would have shown more games even though they are in development. The new user interface is pretty awesome, but I do wish they would have shown more games that were in development. Who is to say that their games will be playable at E3 or not. If not, then MS should have shown some of what they have so far, but if they will be playable at E3 then I do not think it was a bad idea to not show more games in development.
That is pretty weak...Hopefully the single player will make up for this lack. We shall see...

I had the HD Collection and I already have the digital download of MGS1. I thought the MSG1 was going to actually be on the disc. Like Kojima said, they would have to completely upgrade it and remake it in order to do that. He said that a WHILE ago by the way. I should have bought the last hard copy I have ever seen of MGS1 @ blockbuster back in 2001 or 2002.

In looking at oligopolies, consisting of Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony in the console industry, these guys watch each other like hawks. With that said everything they do has an impact on the other company!
I'd buy it just to have a physical copy of MGSolid 1; if that is actually a part of this. I remember Kojima saying he would have to redo everything in MGS1 just so it could run on a current sytem, which was a year, maybe almost 2 years ago. Just have to wait and see!
It sucks that the PS4 won't be backwards compatible for me, but I understand why Sony could not integrate bc into the PS4's hardware.
What I won't do is spend more money on the games I already purchased...no no no!
When the ps3 launched it was sold at $499 and $599 for different hard drive storage; so I would think Sony would roll out with $399 and $499.
