This happened to me...TWICE...I really wanted to rent Tomb Raider for PS3 and I opened the case and boom, there it was, not even a clean photocopy, but ripped and the only thing in tact was the barcode portion. Called, Redbox said to place it back in the machine and they would decomission the game so nobody else rents it. I checked after and sure enough it was not available. RedBox gave me 3 free rentals. So the next day I travel a few miles out of the way only to have it happen again, but I ...
WHY!? That deflated my anticipation. That was just a chop and mesh of the reveal trailer from E3.
I think this is great for Microsoft and for all its adopters of the XBox1. Just removes some weaknesses down the road when they run a SWOTT analysis.
Cannot wait for this on the PS4!
This is a tough one for me as I am looking forward to Watch Dogs, MGSV:PP, the Division, and Final Fantasy XV. Out of those three I would go with the Division simply because I'm most excited about this particular game. I think with the upcoming gen of hardware and what seems to be the transitional benchmark with games, I think online, open world, or both will offer us game of the year titles etc.
Out of all the titles, looking at the games that we know of, subjectively ...
Just my opinion, if they did release a sku that does not include a kinect, but maybe a second controller, or not, people who are normally early adopters would purchase an X Box 1. Is the kinect actually needed for every game or is it that ms says hey devs, make it work?
Microsoft has to know that some folks just are not comfortable with the kinect and not trusting of MS bc of of rumors of the NSA spying on you. Plus the price would be lower too, and some people jus don't ...
I'd definitely strongly agree that putting Sony and Microsoft next to each other would show Sony as the stronger company. I see them as being more profitable than MS in the industry anyway...That isn't subjective lol
If MS fills the shoes of what itBourne is saying, then good thing I preordered a PS4.
What you are implying may be true or may not be true, doesn't really matter to me. I am looking at the ps4 and xbox1 subjectively. Both have great potential obviously, but as I said, time, and I will add as well, games will tell. " )
Wow, I never knew this. Anyway lets look at this through the lens of subjective probability. According to the article, PS3 has way more console exclusives. This does not mean for the life span of the xbox1, and ps4, that ps4 will have more console exclusives again. It may very well be the case again, but only time will tell. As far as I see it, the slate is clean.
P.S. No I am not a fan boy, just a man who enjoys his games. Hope I get my ps4 watchdogs bundle early. Sometimes ...
Maybe this will cause me to get a wii u in the future. Last Zelda game I played was Twilight Princess on the GameCube and it did not keep my attention (did not complete it) as Ocarina of Time, Majora's or Wind Waker did. Hands down, Ocarina of Time is my favorite game next to Metal Gear Solid 1.
I would guess November 19th, thats when WatchDogs is scheduled to come out per seeing the demo on Jimmy Fallon with Aisha Tyler, and one of the Ubisoft developers. Don't see why the PS4 version wouldn't release with current gen.
I been thinking that some lucky few will get their consoles, bundles or games before the release date, but pretty close to it. Always happens right, with new releases.
It doesn't make sense to market or push the Kinect above the console even if its the best feature as the developer said. They just have to find a better way to communicate the potential of the Kinect without it overshadowing the Xbox 1. My perspective is MS should have introduced the Kinect sometime next year since developers are integrating it into their games. Just think that would have made more sense to me at least.
It is all about accountability, and I say good job for taking it.
If MS wanted to bring back the policies then they can do that right away. I think they will implement them around what the article talks about, "choice". Will be interesting to see, plus I believe the move to remove the policies and features they previously held was strictly a business decision.
I preordered the WatchDogs bundle as soon as it was available on Amazon. I logged in a day too late for the launch day edition. Even paid for the 2 day shipping so I can get it the day it launches. Either way I hope every gme enjoys their new consoles whether its Xbox1, PS4...or both.
That is crazy, maybe it is for the special/deluxe editions if such a version(s) exist. DLC better be free if that is the case.
Man RockStar seems like they really pushed and pressed the envelope with this installment. Anyone know if it is coming to the PS4? I ask because PS4 is right around the corner, ahh heck maybe I will download it through their Gaikai next year. I think this game will put to death my PS3. It'll take a year to completely get 100% in this game hahahaha. Paraphrase...You tell me what you want and I'll tell you why it can't be done!...Classic line hahaha.
My day 1 games will be Watchdogs, and I am thinking about Drive Club as well.
My must haves:
MGS:5 (Would get out of everything on this list)
FFXV
The Division (Most Excited About)
Eventually I will purchase BF4 and Assassins Creed 4.
But we have Gamescon, so we will see if they will add anymore launch titles.
I have never played Skyrim nor Elder Scrolls, but I imagine the open worlds in MGS V, Watch Dogs, and in the Division will all have their respective limits. I am excited for the greater freedom and the sure to be enjoyable content these new titles will bring through their respective open worlds. I would never go without MGS V, but I am more excited for the Division. I love the, I call it pre apocalyptic theme, and that you have to stop what could become an apocalypse based on the outbreak of ...
My Amazon order changed to the launch day edition of the PS4. Honestly I am not looking forward to playing any of the launch titles therefore I am thinking about cancelling my Amazon order and waiting until next year to get the system. I was really looking forward to Watchdogs too. Though BF4 and ASC4 look great, I am not sure I'd be completely satisfied or content with either title. Watchdogs is just different; that is why I was looking forward to the Ubisoft title at launch.
