Same here man, I got the 3 month sub and wipeout alone justifies the purchase let alone all of the other content this month and the next two hah.

He is going to regret it big time. He will miss LBP2, Killzone 3, GT5, PSN+ and much more. I could never consider trading my PS3 until PS4 comes around.
What the hell is your problem man? I have 2 HDTVs in my apartment, one is 32 inch and the other is 52 inch. Both are HDMI and 1080p. I plan on getting a 3DTV when I can afford it, price drop and once I save up some money. Just because you think it's a big deal to drop $600 on a tv doesn't mean it is for every one.
Truth. Nintendo will put out a new console sooner than later and xbox doesn't have Blu-ray. PS3 is raising the bar in so many areas and hasn't reached it's potential.

This doesn't look like it is for gaming, more like Microsoft's answer to the iPad. Gaming doesn't work well without buttons on the idevices. Some games do work well but not all that's for sure.

Montrealien They are talking about features and technical advances in games. Doesn't mean that good games can't be made with current tech, PS3 is just pushing forward.

I remember hearing that you could rent Sony Picture movies to watch on PSN while they are still in the theater. What happened to that?
Yeah Wipeout HD is about $20 and my 3 month PSN+ subscription was about $18 so it was already worth it not to mention all of the additional freebies and discounts for this month alone not to mention the other two months. WORTH IT!
