At times he can sound uneducated, but I respect him. He is trying to push a different style of journalism and as far as games go, he knows what he is talking about. I am glad to see him being taken seriously in the community. You have to admit, he is more entertaining to watch than Jeff Rubenstein from the Playstation blog. My favorite tho has to be Geoff Keighley because he corners devs with the though questions.
I agree with much of the article. This is a remix of COD4 with new maps.. IW are riding the success of their last game to put this one out. COD4 at the time, had graphics beyond most any game on the market because they put so much time into development. Exactly. There are so many PS3 exclusives coming out. MS need to release games this year if they want to attempt to win GOTY. Sony is finally showing what they can do and I am glad to see it.

If any thing it is bringing a wider audience into gaming. Hopefully the Wii will be a gateway drug that gets people interested in gaming in general who otherwise wouldn't be. Who knows, I don't think it is hurting the industry. But it does make devs lazy, easy money is pretty tempting.
it is, only the beta. The final release will cost you a few dollars (I heard it might be pricey). I am a little interested in this, but not fully, no idea why. I still love vista despite all of the hate it gets from Mac users, Mac comercials, and PC users who use programs that aren't compatable. I myself have never had any problems with vista, all of my apps work just fine.
They must have been failures because I have never owned any of them. Not that I haven't heard of them, but they did not spark my interest. I have played a virtual boy (mario tennis) and it was only OK. Everything is red, and it doesn't really have much depth. It only looks like it would be virtual reality by the appearance of the console.
I definitely agree with you, This is a major step for Nintendo tho to keep these from spreading to new customers, or just make it that much harder to get a hold of one. I mean 411,000 of them were confiscated, they must feel like they made a difference.
It really is awesome. If you have ever played a Rock Band title this game feels really familiar. Most of the songs are from RB2. It gets really addictive and the on the go factor makes for a perfect time killer.

For sure. The demo was really fun, I can't wait to check out the entire city. I have no complaints about this game, it controls really smooth and it doesn't take much to get used to the button mapping. I am happy to see that Sony is laying down a SOLID foundation of games for the platform.

Some times it does seem out of place, he needs to just improve his vocabulary and tone it down sometimes to take things to a more professional level. It doesn't mean he has to lose his style but a little work on his communication skills would go a long way and more people can take him seriously as a journalist.
