You know if they are on your friends list, you can "call" them through your home menu and do voice chat in public spaces. It will only work if you have them on your friends list. Also I am not sure if you can or can't do this with multiple friends at once. But that should help you out so you don't have to cry about it.
Home do something like this before, except they actually created a Home space of the trade show, where people could walk around the Sony show area and see the conference live? They did it in the closed beta.

That is awesome! I have a laptop with about 300 GB so I store tons of movies on it and via media server, I can stream all of them to my PS3 so that I don't use up much of my 40 GB PS3 HDD. It works out well for me.
if you count games coming soon to PS3 count Uncharted 2 (and 1), MAG, Heavy Rain and GOW3 to the list.
Killzone 2, inFAMOUS, MAG, GOW3, GT5, Heavy Rain, and Uncharted 2. Only a fanboy would say that not ONE of those games peak their interest. I for one am extremely happy with that lineup and look forward to each and every one of these games!
Yeah, look where nintendo's innovation got them.. Sales aren't everything. Great games are more important to me and Nintendo has lost me. I still have my Wii but I (like millions of others) simply don't play it.
Yeah Nintendo has a weird place in the market right now. They seem to think that something as simple as another Mario or Zelda will win over all of the fans they lost ground with. The thing that bothers me most about the Wii is the lack of community and networking features. The friend code system was an epic failure. I enjoy gaming with friends online and with the Wii, it is just so much harder to do. Why even play mario kart online if you can't communicate with any one at all.
They will be backward compatable somehow. They aren't that dumb. I was hoping MS was going to put out a cool handheld but that zune HD doesn't have buttons let alone analog sticks. It might be powerful, but I will stick with my PSP.
Modern Warfare drops you into a game... You don't pick the map, you don't pick the max players, you don't pick the region, or even the rank of the other players in the match. But options like that are standard in most PC FPS, and Killzone 2 as you mentioned.
with you, but the party system in Modern Warfare doesn't always work (often doesn't) the way it is supposed to. It takes for ever to get friends into your party, sending invite after invite. I don't know if it has to do with their servers or what. But I have given up on playing with friends at times because it just doesn't always work.
I am really looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed Final Fantasy Crisis Core to the fullest extent.
They removed the spawn invincibility! No more getting killed while waiting for spawners to become vulnerable! Shotgun those B*tches in the face as they spawn, this will teach tactitions to place their spawn grenades in safer places, instead of right on the objective!

The Zune didn't look like it had buttons let alone analog sticks, they seem to be making the same mistake the iphone did with touchscreen and no actual buttons. This will be a huge mistake.
I absolutely LOVE Mario Paint! It had an amazing music composer too. It could take some lessons from LBP community as far as sharing your creations with the world. But I am sure it would force us to buy another mouse peripheral to add to our pile of white plastic Wii parts.
