Stuff like this is just sad. A developer coming out and blaming bad review scores on hype? APB wasnt even all that much in terms of "high exceptations". Most of the negative points in these reviews were more about actual gameplay then just, "oh well this game isnt a gtammo -5"
Developers like this deserve all the bad sales they get, in my opinion.
One thing I do know: posts like this are a failure. Sony has secured the HD disc market pretty much because of the PS3, and the PS3 is alot more futureproof than the xbox or wii.

Thats a great attitude as a developer. Dont beat a dead horse so to speak. That way the series ends on a great note, instead of a series like COD which has been done to death and back.

But seriously, Infinity Ward brought this upon themselves, with probably a little help from Activision. They have become what they originally wanted to get away from, caring only for money and not releasing good new products. Almost all of Activision's products are the same IPs done 6 times over.

To answer your question, EvilBlackCat, yes I own a PC good enough to play almost all pc games and have a PS3. With that combination, you arent missing much if you dont have a 360.

Macs have very a useful purpose. There are some programs I use on the mac that have no good windows alternative. It runs smoother, more features, and much more stable. I have bootcamp running but I only use it for games. If enough developers get on board with this, I wont be using Windows at all.

To me, MW2 was not good. The campaign is laughably short and the story is all over the space and then some. The multiplayer is just COD4's mp with an insane perk system basically. Multiplayer to me was very boring because it brought almost nothing new to the COD series.
I agree. Sony seems to be one of the better publishers at the moment if you look at the games. The games published by them are some of the most diverse, creative games you could see under one roof.
That would be a great move on Sony's part, although IW's name seems to be a bit tarnished in the community but that could change if they start releasing good stuff.
It would be nice if infinity ward would be bought by a good publisher or the developers find elsewhere to work. I personally think they could make great games if given the chance. A new IP though, Call of Duty has gotten incredibly old because of Activision's ridiculous milking of it.
Its weird how this turned out. EA has become much more tame and is actually releasing good, new ips, quite frequently. Plus their normal series like battlefield are getting better and better.
Activision on the other hand has turned into the old EA. Releasing the same exact game with a different title (Guitar Hero) and increasingly mediocre games (Call of Duty)
Try playing some videos through hulu and youtube for a while. After a while, even when those windows are closed, Firefox starts using 500mb to 1gb of memory. Thats not a problem with the browser, thats an issue with flash not being able to close itself properly.
