This "article" should be removed. Pretty blatant fake. Kinda pathetic that someone felt the need to do this.
Did GT5 ever have a set release date? If not, how can it possibly be delayed?
This article is pretty sad. I mean seriously, whining about updates? Newsflash: you dont have to download them if you dont want to.
Plus, the download speed is usually pretty good. If you are really concerned about only getting 2.5mbps, you really need a reality check.
Every console has updates. The author of this "article" needs to get over it
Plus, when you do want to update, you dont have to sit there staring at the screen.
If there is actually any talent going to Activision, said talent will probably be washed away from them and replaced with $$$$ eyes.
Overrated?
LittleBigPlanet? Seriously? Wow...
Then Uncharted 2? Hmm..
All this looks like is someone wanting to state their opinion on how popular games suck.
And this has to do with the article how?
Yea, nukes are great in WIC.
Maybe these will make all the other Activision employees rise up against him.
Probably not, but itd be nice.
This is a pretty dumb list imo.
World in Conflict? Because it never came to consoles?
Hahahaha. Its hard to avoid something that never even released for consoles. Play the PC version, its pretty good.
Lol at all the mac hate. Macs can play games just fine, its just there are very few games out there for them. But right now I can play the following games on my mac:
Altitude
Call of Duty 4
Company of Heroes
CSS, DODS, TF2
Half Life 2
Killing Floor
Portal
STALKER - Call of Pripyat, Clear Sky, SOC
CIV4
Torchlight
World in Conflict
and of course Starcraft 2
That said, it so...
Lol, almost as bad as those Amazon reviews.
Not a bait and switch. It has been said dozens and dozens of times that they do this.
Always amusing, and a little sad, to see people trying and bashing a product that has only been out for a short time. It will more than likely have alot more stuff fairly soon. Writing it off a short time after release is strange in the least.
Hate will of course always transfer, its the way it has always been.
Many people hate Activision because they have become what they used to hate. Big company who only cares about money and pretty much nothing else. They used to be about creating good games for the consumer but that is long past. Now they are a shell, only seeing the $$$$ and little else.
Siren was a really good creepy kinda stealthy game. Yea, pretty much had to hide or you were dead, pretty nice change.
I may, but if its anything like the others they have released, probably not. If some amazing game came out that was published by Activision and actually supported by them, I may buy it, but I have yet to see something like that in quite a while.
Cant speak for everyone of course, but I am steering clear of everything published by Activision. May seem strange, but Im not missing much anyways. Very few new IPs, mostly just Guitar Hero 52 and Call of Duty 9 it would seem. Considering they love to overcharge for their products, and then most of them dont get supported afterwards, Im not going to support a company that does that. And I dont see the appeal in any of their games anymore anyways. COD has been done to death, GH the same, and ...
Their image is already tainted beyond fixing in the eyes of many. The only way to fix their reputation at all is to apologize for the nickel and diming they have done to their consumers, and release free updates for their games, charge much less for expansion pack games (MW2), and support the commmunity much better.
Their games should be a max of $50 and have free updates. It isnt like they need the money. Some companies it may make sense to charge for dlc, but with Activisi...
Activision, that means they are going to charge $60 with weekly $15 map packs? No thanks, Ill pass
Reviews these days seem pretty biased in terms of the numeric scores. Get a popular game and somehow it is going to probably get a 90, no matter what the cons. Then, a indie or less popular game comes along that is less buggy and might innovate more and then it gets a 60 or 70.
Not to say, 60 or 70 score is bad. But many think that. Some strange mentality has emerged that a game below 90 is not worth it. Apparently, some have forgotten that most review sites, 70 means good.
