Counting Facebook games and casual mobile and browser games as "gamers" is how they inflate this number and make it look like more women then men are gamers. In reality when you remove the above mentioned "games" its more like 5-10% of women are actual gamers.

Does anything work for 100% of the people? No but the MCC match making issues affected maybe 20% of players at launch and now its maybe 5% at best. Perhaps if people knew how to properly configure a home network it wouldn't be an issue but some people love them a $20 Walmart router and then wonder why they have issues.
Fault tolerance in a game can only be so high until it starts destroying the functionality for normal people.
Uhh the game works just fine and has for quite a while. The first patch fixed the match making issue..an issue that was effecting maybe 20% of people. I was lucky enough to never have any trouble quickly getting into a match.
People are making this out to be drive club level screw ups but it isn't. Not even close. The game worked just fine from day 1. The issue was length of time it was taking to find a match. That's it. Omg the terror.

The Xbox will probably be quite difficult to hack because while yes its running a modified windows kernel its also running it in a virtual machine so any attempt at messing with it will just cause the hypervisor to dump that VM and start a new one. Also the fact that its running an apu might make it a bit more difficult as well.

It sure does. The gamebryo engine (which is the worst engine ever created) has major issues with the ps3's split pool of ram. Basically as time goes on the engine can't keep track of everything due to memory limitations and the game just starts running worse and worse. You don't see this on the 360 version because the ram is unified so it can dynamically adjust how much is going to the CPU or GPU based on need.

A game should be reviewed as it launched. If we arw going to revisit every game then publishers will just release every game broken and say hey it will get better.
Issues aside a rife club doesn't know what genre of racing it wants to be. The handling model isn't good. Its not a fun game and the sense of speed is pretty poor which is unfortunate seeing as they spent a massive amount of time on visuals.
Wow... People, let's remember for a moment that gddr5 is based on ddr3 and is slower and has higher latency than ddr4 which is becoming standard on PC right now. Gddr5 is a bandaid on PC gpu's and is awful for CPU tasks. There is a reason they don't nor ever will use gddr5 for CPU memory.
Destiny is a well made game that is a lot of fun but one of the Best? Not by a long shot.
Destiny has barely any content, it has barely any story and what is there makes no sense. The game is nothing but a massive grind with almost no reward.

Yea key stuff was cut. Activision basically made Bungie take the full game and cut it into 3 pieces. Piece 1 was retail and the remaining 2 are now the dlc. It pretty obvious this is what happened considering how the story unfolds and how few missions there are in a game that was under active Dev for 4 years and in pre production for 2 which is 6 years total.

All these arguments when the answer is drop dead simple. If you have the dlc you see the new missions. If you don't have the dlc you see the old missions.
There is absolutely no reason why people who didn't buy the absurdly priced content that was cut out of the original game can't also play weekly missions and earn rewards. No excuse.

Yet now its fine because its sony. Sony a company who has done NOTHING to earn all this love and devotion. Especially this year. Not a single good exclusive hit ps4 in 2014. Not one. Not only that but psn uptime is worse than ever and its still slow as dirt.
America (Country and continents) is by far the most important market for gaming. As nice as it is to win countries like Japan or India or regions like Europe the defacto standard is the Americas. A company can be profitable from just sales in the United States. Also it must be taken into consideration that the leader in America generally ends up selling well in most regions anyways.
Both consoles are doing amazing regardless.
