Work in advanced ai driven Robotics. Former game developer at id software, Sega, Epic games (engine), Irrational. Stopped because basically every other tech sector pays better even for entry level jobs and pay is about equal for someone who works the IT help desk at an office for a 300ish employee building...so getting a printer to work, replacing a monitor or keyboard pays the same as game development unless you are a project lead and that's truly sad. I love gaming, I have every platform and a HEDT. Do me a favor and leave any fanboyism at the door if you're older than 16. It's pathetic.
