You should be recieving a sainthood for this kind of public service, at least a Knighthood!

maybe you wouldn't get so many people disagreeing with you if you actually contributed to a discussion in a manner that wasn't just baiting people in to an argument

What makes me laugh and this was about the only good thing Microsoft did on the PR side at E3 was to bang on about how the xbox will use the cloud to compute, this does add something else to the console but it's not unique. Any developer which access to online servers can cloud compute wether it be Xbox, PS4, PC or even mobile devices.

It does have it's downsides you can't do massive complex task quicklu for something right up in front of the player as the Battlef...

@hennessey86

That's a bad comparison Heavy Rain used QTE's to tell a story, a missed QTE changed the story a failure had an outcome that differed from a correct input.

The game looks good but it's really not my kind of game

It will have a great launch i'm sure but we're too far away to be speculating about that yet, we know next to nothing about how they will realistically stack up against each other!

I would disagree that they have set themselves up perfectly though, the conference left a lot to be desired. Granted they have got the basic functionality on show and got the console reveal out of the way meaning they can focus on games more at E3, it just seems that the things they did ann...

I agree sir, very well written artical that bought up points i hadn't considered as yet. It does paint a very jaded look at what we saw today and i have to say i can't find a reason to disagree with him.

To say Tesco who are normally pretty cheap for launch games, are selling this for £50, it's borderline criminal the game is shocking

I believe there was a story yesterday saying the game could be played totally offline

@Gamer Muzz

i think you need to learn what the word obsolete means.

Yes better products do exist but they aren't cost effective or even required for any public use and won't be for quite a while.

a very postive artical really bar the fact they as devs haven't seen any cash. it's a positive response to the free game campaign abused using journalistic license to garnish hits, nothing new there then

It's a very versitile tool, i've been working with it for about a year now and it's potential is impressive, the ability to design and apply your work in real time is a real time saver. UDK can be a pain in the arse at the best of times to check your work (although UDK is very powerful)

It's a shame we don't see more devs using these tools but i fear the licensing costs are a little too high to make it feasable for smaller devs

Good choices, i agree with you although i wasn't too bothered about Fallout.

The Deus Ex trilogy isn't given nearly enough credit and for the stick Invisible War got i still really enjoyed playing it, Human Revolution suprised me as i expected it to be a massive let down but i enjoyed it from start to finish

Looks great thats for sure, just hope the move to a more open world style game won't hinder the story progression and immersion, although i can't see them steering away from their intense story style.

Very much looking forward to this

MH Will give them a big boost in Japan, that's pretty much a given. Looking at the near future it's hard to see where the system sellers will be world wide, it's going to be a rough year for Nintendo and i hope they can produce some quality content to help improve their sales because the PS4, Nextbox pre launches and the actual launch could really kill off the enthusiasm

Picked Nier up for £4 new and it's brilliant, flawed in some places yea but it has heart and soul driven by a great story and addictive game play. The best £4/$6 i've spent all gen.
