LMAO, try watching "How to annoy people on Black Ops" on youtube and take a look at those screaming kids playing in the multiplayer. When you've done that, come with a statement like that again. Jesus.
Alright, I think otherwise though :)
Who says it's gonna be a port?
What's wrong with platinum? Just curious.
Ah alright I see. Thanks.
@nukacola
Welcome to the internet, the home of insecure spoiled kids who like to sound all smart and cool to have some meaning in life. This happens everywhere, not just N4G.
It's sad, but true.
Didn't quite get it. What does Valve and Epic have to do with each other? Can someone please clarify my stupid question? :)
But if Epic were to support the Wii U with games, that would be HUGE news.
"End up like the 3ds?"
I would wait a little to call the 3DS a failure. Just look at the original DS, how it didn't sell quite well at the start, but exploded later on. Time will tell if it succeeds or not.
And you clearly did not understand the point of the article at all. It was meant as a joke.
@jukins I think the one that agreed with him was just a Nintendo hater who saw the last part of his comment. Just a hunch ;)
This article was awesome, a very good laugh in between all the bullshit BF3 graphics-wars going on.
Well done, gives a good overview.
Good point, but not being convinced is because of the fact that the unveiling went terribly wrong imo and that was sad really. No one can know anything for certain about the more specific details about the system. Will be looking forward to some more direct information from Nintendo themselves instead of all this crap speculation. I for one like Nintendo (though the general consensus in here is that they are crap), but will not blindly follow them like some fanboy, as I do own all systems of ...
Could you open my eyes to why an internal HDD is so seriously important to a console as you suggest?
I can see why Blu-ray playback would be a nice feature, but that won't be keeping me from buying the Wii U. Not saying I will blindly buy a Wii U, in my case it all comes down to the software line-up and how they manage to take advantage of the controller which obviously holds some potential.
My list:
- Banjo Threeie (a PROPER platformer, not the Nuts & Bolts kinda stuff)
- Jak 4
- Kingdom Hearts 3
- Dark Cloud 3
- Tales of Xillia (announced for EU)
- F-Zero
- Half-Life 3
- Donkey Kong 64 sequel
- Fallout 4
- Metroid Prime 4
- Assassins Creed 3 (the real third entry)
That's what I can think of at the moment.
Jak 4 is probably one of my most anticipated, but I've stopped craving for it as there is no sign of anything in developement. But I surely hope it's gonna happen in the near future, make it happen Naughty Dog!
I've been waiting for a follow-up to Dark Chronicles for a loooooong time now. Would be awesome with a Dark Cloud 3.
I think the keyword in his response is "dramatically outperform". It will probably be more powerful to a certain degree, but probably not mind-blowingly more powerful.
Still can't wait to see Zelda and Metroid in HD glory though!
Then pull yourselves the **** together and contribute with something interesting to gaming instead of recycling everything because it gives $$$. Take some chances once in a while, then perhaps we will start to respect you!
One reason that comment was invalid: We don't really know anything about it's online capabilities just yet.
A Retro Studios game is probably (take note of the "probably", cause I don't know for certain yet) going to look phenomenal. What they could output with Metroid Prime looked awesome, so in full-fletched HD, it's probably gonna be incredible.
He also says this though: "obviously internet and internet connectivity is going to be very important for the system."
He's probably trying to say that it won't be the focus of the system, but they sure as hell don't wanna neglect it either.
