Medal of Honor sucks. Played over 3 hours of the beta and BFBC2 blows it away. World at War kicks its ass. So I'm going with Black Ops.
Keep drinking the Koolaid idiots. The PS3 version looks fantastic and I've not had one issue with this alleged framerate problem. CVG are looking to fan the flames for hits. F*&cking disgrace.
If you all "love the industry" so much, get into sales or marketing. That make just as much if not more. You "lovers" blinded by a salary more than $12/hr are exactly who Bobby Kotick is looking for.
For what developers go through, 75k is peanuts. And if you live in the bay area, 75K is tough to live on especially if you're married. Now if you're solo and live in a studio, its "okay". Yea, yea its for the "love of the industry". That's easy to say from you're mom's basement. Struggling with a family, not so much.

@userthree As amazing as ME2 is, it'll be tough to take GOTY being released in Jan. The average attention span of a game review site is about 3 weeks. :) Halo Reach. Well, its Halo. It'll sell well but GOTY? You're pissing your money away with that bet.
Don't forget that MS hasn't owned the ME IP since 2007 when the EA/Bioware/Pandemic deal went down. EA owns the IP. And with EA in the mix is just a matter of when it comes to the PS3. EA can't ignore the success of Dragon Age on the PS3.
Just like the dude above said: Look for a blu-ray collectors edition w/ME and ME2 to launch next year and simultaneous multi-plat launch for ME3.

/agree with #8. This looks bad on all platforms. Pandemic hasn't made a decent game since the first Mercs. Mercs 2 had so many problems. Mercs Inc sounds like an attempt to fix Mercs 2 and throw in multiplayer. Don't get me started with LoTr. Add Saboteur to the rental list for 2009.
If you have a modded console, you are more than likely renting games and burning them. You are thieves and you and your console should get the ban-hammer.
The "I own the game and have a right to make a copy" is complete BS.
Face it. The gravy train has come to a stop. Time to buck up and buy another console to mod with the $1000's you've saved.
