The only way this would happen is if Sony made it a rule or something to have 60fps on all games developed. However, developers aren't willing to sacrifice visuals for fps unless it's like racing or fighting games. Besides, I'd rather look at a gorgeous 30fps world than a 60. If you want both, get a PC.
Were those the graphics?!? It sort of looked like a CG cutscene but then I looked at some of the textures and modelling and it looked a bit more like in game cutscene stuff. It also sort of matches up with the visuals that Sony showed off for PS4. Can't wait for this, it looks so good!
Edit: If it is real, it's more likely a PC with max settings, with PS4 visuals having near representation of this perhaps?
What Nvidia really should of said is 'Our Titan card is 3 times more powerful than the PS4's GPU in raw numbers, however PS4 has a single hardware focus from developers so no fragmenting or sacrifice in game design to support multiple setups. Also the PS4 hardware is built upon a synergetic architecture with design unavailable to general public which will be able to push graphics way beyond what people imagine. I long for this to happen, for nearly 13 years. I miss the old platforming days. Everything is so serious these days in games.
Sure it's fiction, and it can be magical as much as it wants, but when you've established a world, a timeline, and the fact that it's grounded by relatable elements to reality, you can't disrupt that without a sound explanation. You'll have entropy then haha. If it's in Rocksteady's universe and has an explanation for it's setting (e.g. time travel, alternate universe) then I'm cool with it! :)
This can't be connected to the Rocksteady games, it'll make Batman a baby, unless Batman travels back in time to save the world or something lol, but then how would that explain the existence of the Justice League? They wouldn't be around then either.
I think it could be good, might be during an 'open world' craze that's yet to come or something. Might help boost sales, if they're all tightly packed together. I'm sure RPGs before the release of Skyrim and after it got more attention because of the hype for it.

Meh, by this stage you'd think we'd all know raw specs count for nothing, it's what developers do with the hardware they're given that matters. If the game footage shown for PS4 is anything to go by, it's pretty much blowing all the high end PC systems out of the water visually, of course only at 30fps, but you'd need an expensive high end pc system to push the same visuals out at a decent fps anyway. Only thing that ever broke on me, was the 2007 Xbox 360. Was so disappointed, just sold it all and got a PS3, had no problems but then I wanted an Xbox again due to Mass Effect 2. Sells PS3, gets Xbox, Mass Effect 2 gets announced on PS3. First world problems :(
I think by the end of this upcoming gen we will have some 4K games, probably arcade stuff and racers, I wouldn't expect any big 3D platformers or FPS. However, you can bet your ass off the next next-gen will feature 4K with whatever crazy ass gpus are out then. 64GB of ram, 100 Tflops and 32 Core cpus haha.
