it is too late, developing games takes 3 to 4 years, even if after the reveal they think OK people want the xbone to be more gaming focused, we just make more games for it!! That means this machine won't see much games for the next 3 to 4 years, but they might use the money to buy some time exclusives, but these are not true exclusives, you can expect to play them on PS4 later.
By the specs of the xbone one, I can't really see that much of a graphics jump from the last gen. If they go for 1080p 60fps, there is not much power left for prettier graphics , like textures, lighting,etc. PS4 is another story though.
just 1 or 2 third party timed exclusive, 2 or 3 first party new ip, a few kinect games, that's it! And the following years, release the same ips over and over again, just like Fable, Forza, Gears, Halo....
MS isn't even willing to call xbone a console, they think call xbone a console is a shame to the company and the machine, they don't like games that much, they give out a message, they care about games but not as much as TV or skype. Are games really that bad to you, Microsoft?
hardware specs can't be changed,it will have 2 or 3 surprises for you. Including the heavy OS xbone is using, PS4 is about twice the power of xbone in gaming graphics.

seriously, not impressive. I doubt it will be different after they show their games, most likely the games will be shooters, small arcade games, kinect games, and 1 or 2 from other genres. MS just don't get it.

it won't fail horribly, it just won't do nearly as good as PS4 at least globally. People paying $400 plus for a machine want to play games not just watching TV an sports. And xbone is inferior in that aspect.
