$300 sounds about right to me. Nintendo knows they can charge that and it will still be sold out for months, so why not?

Well there's 1000 cars actually, unfortunately only 200 of them are actually finished, which they conveniently refer to as "premium" cars lol. They should have delayed this for 6 months to a year so they could build interiors, headlights and working windshield wipers on ALL cars, not just 200 of them.

Visually I agree, it doesnt look as good as Forza 3, but GT5 does have more features. I love Forza 3, I like it more than every previous GT game, but they are both on different consoles, so its ok if both are great games.
Forza 3 has average score of 9.2 on metacritic, that's a great average, its better than all GT games except for GT3, but im sure GT5 will get great scores as well.

No. I have a G25 wheel but I cant stand using it. Its more immersive of course but its just much easier with a controller.
I love how for these GT5 articles they always use photo mode shots. The game doesnt look nearly that good when you're playing. They've got it set up at Target. False advertising.
I wish they wouldnt release so many screens and info a year before release. Just hold this stuff back a little until it gets closer to release.

I dont care about what they claim as "in game" until I see a HUD. Same crap happened with GT5. Ive been looking at screenshots of that game for ages, of course with no HUD, all looked amazing though, just played the game at target over the weekend, yeah it doesnt look like those shots they released at all. It doesnt look bad, but it didnt impress me at all.
Reluctant about this one. I love fallout 3, but I just have this feeling this game will not be as good. Not just bc it isnt made by Bethesda like FO3 was, but more just from the gameplay vids ive seen, it looks kind of ugly. Not that the visuals are the most important thing, but it helps.

It always works that way. GT1 was seen as the pinnacle of videogame graphics when it came out.
In 15 years we'll all be laughing about what GT5 looks like. Look at vids of GT5, then go drive your own car around, and you'll quickly realize that games still have a very long way to go.
FYI, 5 months passed before you could walk into a store and find a PS3, and it was twice as much as the 3DS.
It was huge news that following spring when PS3s could actually be found, and before that they were selling for $2000 on ebay.
Such short memories people have. The 3DS will do just fine at $300.
